If your yell made you feel good that is ok.
I would approach this differently. May be striking up a conversation about the various WT cover ups as well as to prove to them that I am happier now than as a JW before.
i was walking out of the store and i passed a former jw associate of 20+ years.
"keith"he was an elder, got df'd, lost his wife, got reinstated and last i heard started pioneering!so i see him as i'm walking to my parking spot.. i stop, look him straight in the face and yell from 20 feet away, "you're in a cult.
you're in a cult, dude!".
If your yell made you feel good that is ok.

once upon a time, as a jw, i was afraid to buy turkey during thanksgiving time.
while attending the thursday night ministry school meeting (on thanksgiving day), i was cautious not to mention the word thanksgiving, for fear of bringing reproach to bigj.. now, free at last, my happy thanksgiving wishes to everyone who celebrate this holiday..
Once upon a time, as a JW, I was afraid to buy turkey during thanksgiving time. While attending the thursday night ministry school meeting (On thanksgiving day), I was cautious not to mention the word thanksgiving, for fear of bringing reproach to BigJ.
Now, free at last, My Happy Thanksgiving wishes to everyone who celebrate this Holiday.
when i was a jw i was fascinated with the mormon religion.
i never believed a word of it of course, but i was interested in their religion like most boys were interested in star wars.
i’ve read the book of mormon, doctrine & covenants, pearl of great price, book of abraham, watched their videos, read critical books by ex mormons etc etc… (strange at the time that i never did this with my own religion!
I too met the Mormons a couple of times after I quit JW.
Once I asked them if they truly believed in the Golden plates and how and why it was later taken away. The funny method by which their revelation was decoded... with some magical hat, stones and stuff. No Black people in their church until the 70's. They said they honestly believed that. Why would they not ?
I told them that "You guys are educated, why cant you do some investigation on your religion and see if your beliefs are Bizarre. "
Hoped this may have touched their ego to do some critical thinking. May be I had sown some seeds of doubt which would have sprouted later.
can anyone give me a valid reason for it?
growing old is a drag.
the witnesses idea of ever lasting life, that you will come back to your most youthful state is such a bs answer..
I prefer to live externally without disease and death, but without worshiping a vengeful, egotistic , crazy and blood thirsty god.
I don't think we can count anything as benefits, as all aspects would be fulfilled, supposedly
after looking through doug mason's "ransom" thread, i noticed a little discrepancy between dub doctrine and the bible; i.e.
lazarus.. if the wages of sin is death, lazarus paid the wages in full by dying, and when resurrected by jesus, he should then have been a "perfect" man.
after all, he paid his wages for his imperfection -- he died.
Searching for Lazarus like Crazy now. If I find , I would ask for his ID and DOB oops.... and Date of Resurrection.

draw close to god, and he will draw close to you.—jas.
by continuing to ponder over spiritual things, we will maintain our enthusiasm for the truth.
Draw close to Dracula and he would draw close to you. I think that would work.
according to the watchtower:.
who received the ransom payment?.
why did the ransomer need to be paid?.
Also: How come people kept dying even after the ransom was paid?
May be BigJ is living several million light years away and the ransom has not reached there yet.
you, a jw:.
"how're you doing, mary?
" joe witness asks the grocery clerk.. "not so good, joe.
I don't sneak in my conversation with "We are living in the last days". Very open minded and practical conversations now.
hi all,i have been studying with the witnesses for more than 6 months and regularly attend both midweek & weekend meetings, and i am nearly at the end of the "bible teach" book.
my boss is adamant i attend team christmas functions.
she knows about my studying and potential baptism next year, and has suggested that i attend and just not participate in activities like kris kringle.
Research about the WT and Bible. The truth will set you free, else you would end up serving a cult, professing to worship a god - which is an ancient imagination.
Bitter truth is, this is the only life. Live it freely and happily.
working late tonight i just thought this up : whenever we used to hear someone say " so and so is not doing well spiritually™ " or "not doing well in the truth™ " what it really means is they aren't doing well climbing the wtbts's corporate ladder or doing their beck and call following the herd cult thingy.
been brought up before but had to share..feel free to add..
Spiritually weak in JW terms = not doing much in FS, poor meeting attendance, Not blabbering like Oh Jah did this, Jah did that, isn't Jah wonderful…..
Reality is, the spiritually weak is sensing that all or something is fake in this religion.
When I was wakening, elders used to come and advise that I should be less materialistic and be more spiritual. I am the least materialistic but they had to blame it on me.
