  i receieved this "poem" from some witness chick who sent it as a forward to myself and a whole bunch of other dubs.

  my sister received it from someone else and i have other friends who received it from other sources.

  im sure every young witness who has email has received it by now, and it's the most sickening, disheartening thing i have seen in a long time.

  Unusual things that happen during prayers

  it's a nice warm summer in a welsh sea-side town and the chairman is giving the concluding prayer.

  he starts to slow down and then there is a pause.

  it lasts long enough to make you open your eyes and lookup in time to see him wobbling backwards and forwards.. two brothers leap to the platform and catch him as he is about to pass out but then, in a rediculous scene, instead of helping him to a chair they prop him up between them and one of them carries on with the prayer!

  Towards the end I never closed my eyes. The kids never would either, only noticeable to those who keep they're dammed eyes open. They would be looking around sometimes...

  I remember one 'brother' who was a desperate desperate man in the woman department. He was on the fast track towards MS, but totally weird. One time at the service meeting he got all flustered and asked Jehover for a wife...... ROFLMAO! Everyone knew that he was totally desperate....

  Last Week The P.O. Said That In Case "Authorities" Check On Us......

  (this according to my mother), and ask the elders if a certain person is really a jehovah's witness, and yet they either rarely go out in service or only put in a nominal amount of time in, what could the elders answer those inquiring "authorities"?

  i believe my mother was trying to tell me that this should give us reason for deep thinking.

  i immediately said, "this is just another example as to how the society tries to control witnesses".......what do you think?

  it's now obvious to me that the international community was right.

  the people of iraq do not deserve to live in a free society.

  They do not appreciate the opportunity they have now that Saddam is gone.

  They sure don't. There is plenty more opportunity now; the problem is you're not dealing with American people. You are dealing with people from a third world country who think that America is an evil empire and is the cause of today's woes. Most don't have television sets or anything; they struggle just to eat and live.

  The only things that they hear are from extremists and religion. Both say that the United States is a horrible horrible place.

  There are no answers here; everything that the United States or anyone can do is wrong wrong wrong. It wouldn't have mattered if Canada invaded for crying out loud... (unfortunately our canoes are in the workshop for now... we only have two airplanes and a shotgun) we would be portrayed the same. It just doesn't work friends. And the killing will not end until the United States gets the hell out of there once and for all, unfortunately. I"m not saying abandon at this point whatsoever. What to do is a tough choice for America; that's for sure.

  at first he emailed to me because he found my cousin's story on randy watter's website and my email addy is in the story.
