i’m just curious to know the local attendance figures for the memorial.
my father told me they had an attendance of 140. not flattering for a cong of 100 pubs.
i was sort of surprised at this considering the quarantine measures and everyone being forced to stay at home.
You know that the numbers will be astronomical when published by the wt! Hell no one had to go anywhere to attend, no one had to endure the "late" memorial at some ungodly hour and everyone living in a jw's house was probably 'forced' to "attend"! So when the reporting is relayed to the congregation even the household's dogs and cats will be counted.

Limbaugh could easily be a GB member for jw's. He certainly has the necessary credentials. He has a large following, his followers believe his unmitigated bullshit and hang on his every word as if god is talking to them, he's full of himself, he lies to people's face, he exerts his 'presence and pseudo authority' over others, will not listen to any reasonable person who has a different opinion and just plain babbles.
And in the end he will die believing that he did good in this life!

jehovah`s witnesses have taken it upon themselves that they have been chosen by god to be his witnesses in what they believe to be the last days ,the time of the end spoken of by the prophets of old.. they are on record as stating in their publications that it is their calling and duty to preach this message of announcing jehovah`s kingdom loud and clear publicly and from house to house even when under ban.. which they have done on many occasions in the past putting their trust in jehovah .. taking to heart acts ch.5 : 17- 32 which states in a nutshell ," we must obey god as ruler rather than men " .
they are also on record that the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one satan the devil to mislead all mankind.. this includes all governments ,religious leaders ,economic, and social systems ,they have even stated that the united nations was a counterfeit kingdom in opposition to the kingdom of god for the benefit of mankind.. so what do we see today ?

The world headquarters of jw's is in the USA as we all know! The GB will no doubt obey US governmental orders strictly as a matter of self preservation. Shut down the head(quarters) here in the USA and the body worldwide will die. Don't think that the GB will give up their cushy life style for some of their silly religious "principles" that can be miraculously changed with 'new light' in an instant!

Religion, including jw's, has never been about "saving" souls. It's about power and self preservation. In the case of the wt it was about literature sales. Now it's about real estate holdings.
Maybe among the rank and file, saving souls was important but not too much as one climbs higher up the ladder!

An average adult body with a weight of 150 to 180 pounds will contain approximately 4.7 to 5.5 liters (1.2 to 1.5 gallons) of blood.
So then a pint of blood is only 1/12 or 8.3 percent (a fraction) of the total blood in the average person

i’ve always noticed that the local jw leaders like to give as little notice as possible for local meetings and expect you to drop everything and rearrange your life to fit their agenda in.
i’ve noticed this more during the pandemic.
we are not given the codes and time of memorial until a couple hours before meeting.

You are dealing with the "exception to the rule" sort of thing! All the jw's I know knew about a week ahead of time all the memorial arrangements. But then I live in California and we're always ahead of the curve! lol

Some JW's just might compromise and say: To hell with the governing butt-heads, I need this to stay alive! And since nobody will know, why not!
