something fun for those of us taught to speak an entirely unique and pure language.

there have been posts in the past in this forum but perhaps some have new ones after having kept up with jehovah's chariot as the light gets brighter.

i saw this mentioned on reddit but no link - i found the article form this weeks bible study..... in the “congregation bible study” part of the meeting this week there was a part that said and i quote: “only jehovah god and his son can receive someone into the heavenly kingdom or the paradise on earth under that kingdom.

we should diligently cultivate friendship with them by using what material riches we have in supporting kingdom interests”.

When the wt had products to sell, namely printed literature, and millions of "publishers" (publishers=sales persons--lol) out regularly selling their products, money was not as big an issue as it is today! Sure the wt can buy and sell real estate but that is not the same as a steady monthly income from millions of sales persons selling literature. So they gotta ask for cash and of course by tying it to our relationship to jehober and jesus it's now a "sacred" privilege to donate!

it's seems that even the revised edition of the book revelation: it's grand climax a hand was wrong again.. in the 2019 agm david splane "clarified our understanding of the prophecy recorded in joel 2".

you mean he done a 180 reversal.. from revelation: it's grand climax a hand page 143, para.

Yea I can picture Mad Freddy and boozer Rutherford sitting around and attaching "meaning" to some of the crap in Daniel and Revelation. Rutherford in a stupor and Freddy in a delusional trance both congratulating each other for deep and insightful understanding!

i came across this article written in 2004 by an evangelical.. “when did jerusalem fall?”, rodger young, journal of the evangelical society [jets], 47/1 (march 2004), 21-38.. http://www.rcyoung.org/articles/jerusalem.pdf .

these are the conclusions of the 18-page analysis.

(1) jerusalem fell in the fourth month (tammuz) of 587 bc.

However, Ptolemy, the astronomer, lived in the 2nd century CE. I'm not completely disregarding his stuff but still he lived 6 or 7 hundred years after the supposed destruction of Jerusalem. With all the exaggeration and hyperbole surrounding the ancient accounts of kings /rulers and their dynasties, who's reasonably willing to bet on the accuracy of dates and the accounts of historians from such times in the past? Not me!

Seems very nonsensical to me that anyone would try to reasonably pinpoint a specific year that took place 2,600 + years ago! With all the calendar changes over the centuries, lack of reliable historical dates or dates based loosely on some event or someones birthday it's a fools game. It's fairly unreliable to go back even 100 or 200 years and establish a definite date. But then faith is blind, deaf, and DUMB!

Damn it would have been entertaining to have Splane try to ex-splane how the gb came up with this "new clarification" of the locust by using some charts and graphs with 'overlapping' understandings from Mad Freddy thrown in just for emphasis!

In other words, all the shit the wt shoved at us for decades was just uneducated guess work, they had no idea what any of those fantasy stories and visions meant! lol lol lol And you can't ex-splane the unex-splanable!

Where are the funds going to come from? Warwick Expansion

so with the news that they are remodeling patterson and expanding warwick, where are the funds going to come from?.

could this be a ruse like the need for thousands of kingdom halls proclaimed a few years back only to be replaced with the we realized the halls were not at capacity and the great sell-off began?.

maybe the hope is going to be that the sheep will give give give and then all of the sudden, after prayerful consideration the gb have determined that the current resources are sufficient to create the needed media and content.. my bet is that in 10 years it will all be consolidated to warwick and walkill and patterson will be sold to who i have no idea, but they own a ton of property in upstate ny..

Didn't Jeptha's daughter have a better fate that Lot's 2 daughters? Lot's daughters had to 'witness' jehober turn their mommy into a pillar of salt, lol,lol, and then they were both probably so traumatized that they screwed their daddy and both of them got them pregnant from daddy Lot! Wow!

Of course Lot was innocent because he was totally drunk during both incestuous encounters! lol-lol
