Actually it's 3 1/2 years away. I know because I measured the tRump Tower in New York City and came up with 2,520 tRump inches. Then I divided 2,520 by 60 (the number of minutes in an hour) which equals 42. Divide 42 by 12 (the number of tribes in the nation of Israel) equals 3.5 years. I could be off by 1 year because A.D. 2020 ends with a zero so I'm not sure if that means that there is no zero year in my calculations. Easy peasy. Should I post a chart to show how easy it is to understand?

Look out for 2023 (unless it 'overlaps' 2024)!

yup that's right the jws religion is a pretentious fraud orchestrated by men running their own religious publishing house.. these men cultivated a semblance of power around themselves through their own propagation of being chosen by god or being more righteous than other christian leaders by their self supporting acclaim that they have truer and more accurate bible interpretations.

another known fact is these top leading men were not academically trained bible scholars.

the first leading executive writer of the wts was a professional clothing salesman/ businessman.

we know that the serpent in the garden can’t be secretly satan, because the first time satan is mentioned by name is in a story chronologically after this one, and in that, he is said to be walking.

remember that the serpent was cursed to crawl on his belly all the rest of his days, but in the book of job, satan is still walking around and chatting with god as if they’d never had a falling out.

this is when god had to ask satan where he’s been, because his infallible omniscience obviously didn’t know.. so if he had to ask that of satan, who is later described as the lord of lies, then why would god believe him?

mrs nic' and i were 16 and 18 years old respectively when we first met at a circuit assembly in corby.

three years later we were married.

we've had a great time, we're very lucky but looking back i can see how crazy it is to put that pressure to marry on teenagers.

Sadly many of my jw friends, that married young, found out that they weren't going to have much sex AFTER marriage! Lots of divorces.

Babylon The Great / World Empire of False Religion, do JW`s even preach that anymore ?

when was that first preached , with the book babylon the great has fallen gods kingdom rules ,the 1970`s ?

where they claimed that false religion had a fall in 1919 and that it was continuing to that day .

however today we see not babylon the great that is falling ,but the jehovah`s witnesses religion that are on the decline ,selling off branches , kingdom halls in one place after another throughout the earth .. and only a couple of years ago they were predicting they would be needing thousands of kingdom halls to be built for the expected influx of new worshippers ?

Approximately 40 authors wrote the Bible considered as GOd`s inspired word .Jesus never wrote one sentence in the bible.

the bible from genesis to revelation and some apocrypha books are considered "god`s inspired word" written by imperfect men over the centuries.. yet jesus christ who never wrote a single sentence yet claimed to be the son of god and changed the history of the world not by what he said and did ,but by what others claimed he said and did.. moses wrote five books jesus wrote none .. how can jesus be considered greater than moses ?.

did the political powers that be in those days see an advantage of making jesus and christianity an opportunity for power and authority over the population of the time ?.

Just because he was "perfect" doesn't mean he could write. The bible says he could read but no mention that he could write! Or maybe he did write stuff and his stuff just didn't make the cut when the catholic church was assembling the bible.

it has been mentioned before but since we have been discussing environmental issues on another thread, i thought it might be timely to discuss rev 11:18 which has recently become a popular text for those christians concerned about environmental threats of pollution and climate change.

is this passage being interpreted correctly?

did the writer somehow anticipate the modern environmental situation, or did he intend something more in keeping with the bible's general concerns of morality and sin?.

It's a typical wt method. If one definition of an obscure Greek or Latin word or phrase doesn't support their dogma, then simply switch to another 'possible' definition of that word or phrase. The wt writers use such kindly expressions as "that must be what Jesus (or fill in the name) must of had in mind when he said______________", and then completely change the whole meaning of a scripture. Or just add a comma and the whole meaning of what Jesus said can completely change! lol

And yet we ate their crap for decades!
