looking at the most recent wt the study article focuses on the jubilees.
the made a separate box in the article to highlight the math behind jubilees, and i'm wondering if they're trying to get people thinking and stir up the pot without actually making a false prophecy.
for instance: jubilees happened every 7 times 7 years.

The wt leaders don't use mathematics but they do use math-magic! They have used magic formulas to calculate events that are based on mythical starting dates while employing the Hebrew calendar year of 360 days and magically converting to the Gregorian calendar of 365 1/4 days. It requires a lot of mental gymnastics but if you do the math, using wt colored glasses, you will arrive at whatever date needed! It's simply magic!

i though i remember in hte last couple of years that there was a change in the strict practice of not clinking glasses and toasting,,, that it was more of a conscience decision.. was i dreaming this?

i also noticed how mixed up the congregations are at this and probably other rcs.
some of the local congregations are here near the rcs site but also ones almost 100 miles away as well , yet other local congregations are not scheduled at this time.

hey guys, i've been pimo going on full inactive for a very long time, 5+ years.
pretty happy with the current situation.
over the years, i've gotten lots of grief from the local elders and cos for my inactivity, attending wordly public events and social media posts.
at 1 Corinthians 7:39 it says to marry “only in the Lord,”
at 1 Corinthians 6:14 is says "Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers."
These 2 scriptures are not suggestions, they are rules or laws stated by Paul that wt ignores. They are plainly stated. Technically these are disfellowshipping issues if one chooses to violate them. But again the wt does nothing!
But smoke a cigar or take a life saving blood transfusion and you get df'ed!

1.the first is 2 cor.4:4 that satan is "the god of this system of things" to blind the minds of the unbelievers etc.. so logically this "system of things" would mean the governments ,politicians, armed forces and law enforcement agency`s such as the police would it not?
so satan is in control of all of these under the banner of being the god of this system of things.?.
2. rom.13: 1-7 " let every soul be in subjection to the superior authorities for their is no authority except by god".

Many of my best friends are total jw's. I'm working on them and they actually listen when I show them shit that undermines jw teachings and policy! I got them to thinkin' at least. But best of all they're still my friends and would do anything for me and I for them! I can't conceive of going thru life without friends!
