l just had a discussion with my uber Dub father about the RC in Australia

just jotting this down while it's fresh in my mind.. joe= apparently they have got issues over in australia at the moment with sex abuse, and this time the government got involved.. dad=yeah they mentioned this at the assembly last weekend.

apparently so they said all religions and organisations are been investigated.

joe= kind of seems funny how the only 2 religious groups been interviewed so far are the catholics and jws.

fmf I understand, however, they are the ones misapplying Bible scriptures, are they not? Unless they are simply the puppets in the front, and whoever's behind them is controlling it all.

It seems like the Governing Body may very well not be in charge of Jehovah's Witnesses after all, and they're probably puppets of who ever is - legal department perhaps?

the police are saying this is a hate crime.. it sounds like a lot of of jws are really mad .

Yeah, this sounds fake. No witness I ever knew would ever write something like that. For one, they don't refer to the organization as "Watchtower". They would put "The Society" or "Jehovah". Also, this is far too bold for an active witness. Witness are trained to be extremely passive-aggressive.

They are pedophiles as well, with their leaders trained to cover up the crime and protect the pedophile.

I haven't watched the entire commission, just about to finish the first one. I am very sorry you experienced one of the top worst crimes a person can endure. You didn't deserve it. I am happy to hear you are free and hope you've found a sense of peace and happiness.

I've been away from the whole JW thing for a while, but I truly do not understand their reasoning here...it makes absolutely no sense and is a totally unnecessary self-inflicted wound . I obviously have no proof, but from the outside this really smells of hiding deeper secrets very high in the food chain by persons who were in the past involved in some very nefarious things and now hold critical positions. Just my opinion.

i posted a topic with personal contact information on it.

such stupidity and i do deeply apologise to the person and the commission.. it has been taken down thank fully.. this morning i came skulking out of my cave, and with trepidation started the computer and checked my emails.............. there was a lovely compassionate email from the staff at rc telling me not to be too upset at what i had done.

they said they understood and it was important that i not get too distressed at the error.. then they said they were thankful for all the support and gratitude being shown to them from various parties and other places.

I found this post very interesting and revealing at how much pressure you guys are/were under... Wow! I mean, what would happen if this was the WTS? "Worldly" organizations reacting the way the RC did to you in response is very common and "the norm" it's kinda like, "No biggie, you didn't know, just letting you know". Don't be too hard on yourself.

i'm reading some documents from the royal commission and i don't get it, why so much concern for the accused and his reputation???

I have a theory - there's obviously way more pedophiles we're aware of.

The organization may be infested with them top down. If they get rid of all the pedophiles, who'll be left to continue on marrying and impregnating JW women, further passing down the cult from generation to generation?

If they get rid of them, there won't be enough men to serve as elders, and other top positions of slavery.

Another thought comes to mind - induce trauma into the members and you'll more easily be able to inflict the teachings in their mind and put them under mind control. The continuation of sexual abuse may very well be an intentional method of keeping the members under their spell.

i have listened to segments of the hearing.. i am really impressed with the way the rc are well informed about jw procedure and the 'flock book'.. does anyone know how the rc got so clued up?

are they just that good at what they do?

(not saying they're not).. have 'mentally diseased apostates(tm)' been of use to the rc?.

Since they specialize in child sexual abuse, they are already well aware of the clean image sexual abuse offenders and protectors of them such as WT top down hide behind. The secrecy is well aware of, so really diving into the depths of it is common for them.
