first let me apologize for any typos i make while posting this.
tis a bit early and my hands and eyes aren't working to well together yet.. took mom to the doctor on may 23rd.
over a period of a couple of yrs my mum had 2 hip operations...had "new" ones put in.
when she had the operations she was awake-they gave her an injection that only put the lower half of her body to "sleep"......she reckons it sounded like a carpentry shop.!!

it has been suggested that we have a recipe collection for posters on jwd.. and that idea was taken one step further by suggesting that we make a cookbook with the various recipes provided by the posters here.
all proceeds from the book would go to simon to help support the board (which would be a lot easier than everyone getting a cut of the "profits".
it would be pretty easy to get a collection of recipes and make up some cds.. i um have actually edited a cookbook before.

i am having a discussion on another board about the topic of disciplining children.
some people seem to think that as long as the child did something to "deserve" it then the parent has the right to hit anyway they want.. grrrr.
many of us grew up in a society that accepted the practice of corporal punishment.
I have no children, but, from what i have observed, which is a lot, my opinion is that there is a difference between a spank and abuse....every child is different and what will work with one will not work with another.

labour has been occurring over the past 10 years that amnesty international has taken an active interest in the case and is pursuing injunctions through the United Nations.
RSPCA officials have responded saying the allegations are unfounded but our picture has the final word.
