Witnesses Just Tried to Have Me Arrested!!!!
by Reborn2002 inwell, i just got home and im piping madd.. im laughing about it as well though because i outsmarted them at their own game and got a rant off my chest.. heres what happened.
an acquaintance i used to go to the hall with.. who is also 3 years younger than me asked me for money about 6 months ago.. at the time, i loaned him $50 to get the tires on his car fixed.
in that time period, not only did he move out of his parents house to an undisclosed location because he decided to stop going to the kh.. but i also da myself in that time frame.. due to the fact he moved out, i havent been able to reach him.. i tried calling his parents home to discover his current location or at least to tell them if he contacts them, to be sure to have him reach me because he owes me money.. no response.

Will you all get off Reborn's nuts??? What's it to you what he does?!?! He is just trying to collect some money that is owed to him. As long as he is doing nothing illegal to do so, he can do whatever he pleases! I don't know what your financial situation is but to me $50 is alot of money. I now know better than to use this forum to vent regarding the dubs unless its something that everyone will agree with. Let the man vent!

A new year ... a new start ...
by Simon inwell, 2002 comes to a close and it's been a busy year.. we have had over 380,000 posts!
in them we've laughed, we've cried, we've celebrated and commiserated, we've fallen out and made up and we've seen new people come and people move on.. what's to come in 2003?.
well, some changes .... the new forum is nearly ready (though i expect will never be 'finished' lol) and i think it is a good opportinity to do some things differently and make a 'fresh start'.. i have incorporated features that will allow me to give other people the chance to get involved running the site so it becomes less 'mine' and more 'ours'.

by Englishman inan international freedom - fest for ex- jw's is to be held over the weekend of april 19 - 20.. the location is simply stated at present.
it's at a beach location, somewhere in florida!
i believe that's in the usa.

I think it would be kind of cool if we all chose someday in the future and arranged several meetings across the U.S. and we all met around the same time to enjoy some good apostate association.
Massive planning would be required but it would be some damn good fun.

Storming the Baracades
by searcher ini have been reading a lot of threads/posts where people are trying to fade quietly, and are being ' picked off ' one at a time by the new policy of contacting ' inactive ones '.. my thoughts on this are, why wait to be 'picked off' ?.
if the wt is going to df/da people anyway, why not a mass da by all sending in letters at the same time ?.
the wt is using a tactic of attrition, keeping people isolated from the flock and dealing with them one at a time, this looks good in the stats.

The reason (correct me if I am wrong) that people choose to fade away from the troof is the fact that because they are not being DF'd or DA'd they are still able to remain in contact with family or close friends who would otherwise shun them. I believe that the GB knows this and by talking to these people face to face are trying to force those who have faded to come back lest they loose their family or friends.
Its equivalent to holding your family as ranson, all you have to do to pay is show up to the meetings so they can increase their stats.

NFL Playoffs: Week-By-Week Predictions

colts 23, jets 15 (the jets had their super bowl vs. the packers).
packers 21, falcons 17 (i have a hunch that atlanta may pull the upset but you can't root against the pack at lambeau).

As much as I detest them.. .looks like the Raiders are the team to beat this year. I would LOVE to see the Eagles win it all though.
