Help!! Don't know where to start

ok so to start... i am still an active jw... but only because i cannot get out yet... i am slowly planning to get out.... i should really read hassan's cult control book... it seems like i am getting everything wrong in trying to help the people i know to know ttatt.. so i will need your help, all of you dear people.. my current, actual beliefs are pretty much agnostic... no belief in any particular dogma, but i believe there is a higher power out there.... there are so many things on my mind... for example,.

1. the fact that no nt manuscript contains the name "jehovah".

2. the blood doctrine.

Billionaire investor Wilbur Ross is raising $75 million for Invesco Advisers' deal to buy the Brooklyn headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses, The Post has learned.

Invesco has emerged as the third - and dominant - investor in the $240 million real-estate transaction, which has been heralded as the borough's largest real-estate deal this year.

Invesco has teamed with Jared Kushner's Kushner Cos. and Aby Rosen's RFR Holdings. The deal is already in contract and is set to close on Sept. 3.

The Invesco Mortgage Recovery Fund will put 90 percent of the equity in the deal, according to a confidential July 24 memo to prospective investors from WL Ross & Co., which is affiliated with Invesco.

Ross could not be reached for comment.

RFR and Kushner will put up the rest of the $167 million in equity, while the Natixix bank has committed to providing $244 million of financing.

The property includes a five-building complex encompassing about 973,000 square feet of office and retail space located in the DUMBO portion of the Brooklyn waterfront, according to the memo.

It has served as the headquarters for Jehovah's Witnesses since the early 1900s. The group is selling it as part of a move to consolidate its operations in upstate New York.

In the memo, a copy of which was seen by The Post, Ross said, "The fund is comfortable investing the full equity amount but is willing to accept up to $75 million in co-investment capital."

Investors have until noon today to sign on.

District Convention talks regarding Apostates and College

as much as it pained me.......for the benefit of my upcoming custody battle.......i went to the friday afternoon session and recorded the final talk of the day that railed on college.

then i went back and recorded the apostate talk on saturday.

both recordings are audio and visual but the visual is basically just a panoramic of the arena (i was sitting/standing in an area more or less above and behind the speaker.).

Suicide - How many do you know within the JWs

one interesting but truly tragic is the number of jwhovah's witnesses who commit suicie.. now i suspect that if a person commits suicide shortly before or after they are disfellowshipped then the elders would say that person wasn't a witness or that they had done something so terrible that they were too guilty to admit it and by their action of committing suicide they pretty much declared they were no longer a jw.. yup fancy talk to make sure any crap didn't fall on them.. so my question.. do you know of cases like this?

if so then can you answer a few more questions.. had this person been dfed or in real danger of being dfed or whatever the equivalent is if they were never baptized?.

Couple died in murder-suicide, police say

Suffolk police say the couple found dead in their Nansemond River Drive home Wednesday were victims of a murder-suicide.

They have been identified as Lucy Celenia Perry, 67, and her husband Dennis Joseph Perry, 64.

Autopsies showed Dennis Perry shot his wife before turning the gun on himself, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said in a press release. A release Thursday stated no foul play was suspected.

Neighbors said Thursday they called police after noticing the couple’s absence from church and an overflowing mailbox. The last time a neighbor had seen one of them was Thursday morning.

A relative gave police permission to enter the home, the city said.

The couple were members at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at White Marsh Road.

Autopsies revealed that both victims died from gunshot wounds.

Police say Dennis Perry shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself.

Suffolk, Va. - Police are now investigating after a man and a woman were found dead in a Suffolk home on Nansemond River Drive in the Nansemond River Estates neighborhood Wednesday.

"It's heartbreaking. He was a great guy. Treated my kids like they were his grandkids. Church-going people, they loved life," says neighbor Brenda Phelps who lives next door.
Phelps' nanny, Crystal Robins says the last time she saw them was six days ago.

With the couple's cars in the driveway, Robins thought nothing of it until a church member came by around 10:30 Wednesday morning asking about the couple. That's when Robins knew something had happened.

Robins says the woman had been ill and was in and out of the hospital.
As police continue their investigation into what exactly happened inside the couple's home, neighbors are left to speculate.

Police say they are not looking for any suspects in the deaths.
The bodies are now with a medical examiner to find out how the two died.
