I don't deal with gried well so I don't have advice. It just plain hurts and doesn't stop until you shut down somehow. Sleep? Maybe that a gin and tonic is how I deal with grief.

i finally signed up three of my kids to play ball.

Baseball has been a terrific bonding a confidence building experience for my son. I started while we were still deep in the cult and it was a wonderful distraction for him and me to have as we extracted ourselves.

Computer Game Recommendations

okay, i used to be the guy with all the latest gadgets in fact i was the first bethelite i knew to get a personal internet account and the first to upgrade to a 14.4 modem (dating myself eh!!).

but for the past couple of years i haven't upgraded my home pc.

it has been primarily for my home based businesses (email, word, excel and powerpoint type stuff and casual browsing) so my faithful p2, 10 gig hard drive and cd reader (only) has been sufficient, but damn it i want to be able to do more!

Husband has a sense of humor

i've been a bit on edge with his jw parents visiting in town (not staying at our house at least ) .so tonight ( while i'm out ) his mom calls after the meeting to talk to me about plans tomorrow.

he tells me he told her i was up at the bar getting wasted and singing karaokee !

( which was only partly true ) .....then he says he is just kidding he really just ignored her when she asked where i was .sheeez sometime for him to get a sense of humor.

recently, i was sat here at my computer, feeling completely hopeless.

life was getting me down, and a few recent bombshells dropped on me were taking me further into the ground.

i asked myself how i could possibly let this happen to my life, how i could find myself in this position..

I'm sorry for whatever the other beat downs in your life are. Bouncing off the bottom is not fun. They say it doesn't last forever. I hope they are right for everyone's sake, especially yours.
