i was told today that an elder in a nearby congregation has just told another elder in his congregation that he saw we celebrated christmas last year.
seems he was doing a job on our street (he's a window washer, like all good jw elders) and saw our decorations.. several things bother me about that.. 1. no one could have seen any of our decorations by driving by.
we had no lights outside.

Mulan, maybe he didn't see it at all, but he suspects, so he's lying about it in the hopes you'll "confess"?
As an elder I never did this, but am chagrined to say that I knew a few that did.
ok, i'm sitting in my sunroom, i got the grill going right outside cooking up some beautiful spareribs with my special hand-rub spices.
after that, i got 4 beautiful well marbled porterhouse steaks just waiting to be grilled to perfection.
my preference has always been using a charcoal grill.

the best represented geographical areas on this forum.
i have not done a formal count, but there sure are a lot of people from those two areas.
is that because they are extremely large states or is there another reason?

earlier this season there were some reports and accusations of racism in the voting for the american idol.. but now with the last two seasons being capped off with a black and white finalist and the black singer winning both times should this put to rest the accusations?
Fantasia reminds me of Leon Spinks
Spinks couldn't sing I don't think

what's the craziest thing you ever heard at the kingdom hall or assembly hall?
there were lots of crazy ideas coming from elders, co's & do's in my neck of the woods, but one in particular sticks in my mind.
it was the very last circuit assembly at hellerby in yorkshire (hell!
A demonstration at a circuit assembly demonstrating how we should consult the WT Index before planning a family vacation. Done by a young couple - it helped them "agree" where to go for vacation.
I think they want us to scoop out our gray matter entirely and replace it with the WT Index.
It was my last assembly.
i went to my local coffee shop at 11:10am on saturday morning.
not thinking that about 40 witnesses would be arriving.
there i was standing in line, the two parties in front of me were taking forever.
Danny - you keep understating your position.
