Just watch the news and follow the bible on what Jesus taught and stay away from the big citys and places you know you shouldn't be at like stripeclubs, gambling boats, sincity, .....Kingdom Halls ( False Religion) etc etc. I believe the Bible is the truth but that all religion is false. Just stay on your feet ,pray, and take cover and watch the sparks/Bombs fly

Just heard from a friend....

i knew this was going to happen sooner or later.. while the local congregation has shown no interest in why i haven't been to meetings in over a year , i do have friends from afar (witnesses) who i feel do care about me and my family.

i heard from one of them today who tells me she has, what the doctors say is, a very serious case of breast cancer.

anyways - besides telling me all about that she had heard that i was highly inactive and wants me to start getting back on track because she wants to see me in the paradise.

Going to another hall isn't the answer thats BS. Tell her that in a very nice way and that you believe in GOD just not in MAN (WTS). Good point though next time she saids "worldly" correct her in a nice way and tell her that worldly person is helping you out more then so & so why would God kill someone like that. It sounds like your doing the best you can and don't let her put a guilt trip on you, just tell her in a nice way to please stop doing that you are not the judge God is. Just hang on and take care I hope all is well for her and you.

Who plays a musical instrument?

everybody likes music, but i don't know many people who play an instrument.

years ago, every house had a piano, and just about everybody in the house played the piano, but not today.

we all know that farkel is an excellent pianist, and i do enjoy listening to his music.. does any of you play a musical instrument?

an inactive friend just spoke to some elders who, not from the platform but one-on-one, said they believe the coming war with iraq will cause world war iii and armageddon.

has anyone else heard this?

it may be that some are using this as a tactic to scare inactives back into the watchtower society along with their needed donations, especially since the pedophile and wts-u.n. scandals.

Did you destroy your records/LPs/Tapes?

i am just wondering.

for those of you who were jehovah's witnesses back in the late 70s and early 80s, did any of you ever destroy your records/lps or cassette tapes after one of those talks at an assembly about 'demonic music', 'backwards masking' and so on?

i remember i had some records destroyed, but i couldn't do it.
