JW Threatened me with Violence Today :)

i popped into the supermarket for a few things after work today and found myself walking up an aisle alongside a couple who used to be in my tuesday group.

i see them reasonably often and always say hello much to their obvious annoyance.

i noticed that ian was sporting a shaggy beard.

My older brother decked two elders in the same moment with a quick left and a right when they got in his face once. They did not try that again. Maybe cos he's a fealess 6"3' and weighs in at a hefty 18 stone of solid beef with wrists thicker than your calves and club hammers for fists.

Getting the Urge!

evening folks, so as some of you may know we have recently decided to leave the witnesses and can see it for the man made organisation it is.

so, why do i get the urge to go back and feel guilty for not being there!

it's like my mind is telling me to be logical about it all but then something keeps pulling me back.. don't get me wrong i really want to break free from it all and i'm resisting the urge to go back as i have been miserable in the truth for a long time as i've known it's not right and want to do the best by my daughter.

That urge will wane the longer you stay away, disconnect, cut all the many strings both social, psychological, intellectual and emotional and continue to learn the tatt.. however that little tug in the mind can last your entire life..

Mine did for over 30 years because I did not have the right information or a real overview of the organisation, what it really is and how it operates with it's deep brain washing techniques. Accurate knowledge and getting to really see 'behind the curtain' helps profoundly in the liberating/deprogramming process and can speed things up massively.

What woke you up?

in march of 2014, i was a very active jw, a ministerial servant, gave a public talk, was an attendant for the memorial, and one of 4 cleaning captains for an international convention of 40,000+ attendees.

so what woke me up?

an innocent comment from a co-worker about the candice conti court case rang a bell that could not be unrung.

My alarm clock.

After that it was suddenly opening my eyes and seeing the utter and total hypocrisy, lack of genuine love, meanness, unkindness, lack of humility, lack of real knowledge, manipulation and bullying and lying and the astonishing callous selfish lack of empathy or true compassion for others. Oh and then the fact that they are a fucking cult.

there's an email circulating amongst those in the org saying that "apostates" are updating/have updated the ashley madison hacked list with gb members, cos, and elders/elderettes.

can anyone verify this?

They are just covering their asses when it's discovered that in fact there are could possibly be , DO's, CO's elders and/or their wives etc on the list.

Wow.. I guess even if a new life form were discovered on another planet they would say apostates out it there. The levels of utter stupidity of these people just keeps on growing.

I'm 16 and I might be pregnant In a JW household

okay, i don't even know where to start.

i'm 16, i live in a strict jw household and i know if i am pregnant (which is a big possibility) ..i know i'm doomed to a life of misery.

not because of my baby but because of my family and the isolation and judgement from the congregation.

Taking from the government? The government has nothing. Its not a private business. All the money the government has has been taken from the people in the form of taxes. So it's in fact your money. Never feel bad about that.

Are There Good People Out There?

even though i'm no longer mentally a jw (i still technically am) i do recognize that there are some benefits to being raised one.

for example, the first (and only so far) wordly guy i was involved with had to smoke weed every day and got drunk all the time and that was his idea of fun.

i couldn't help but feel bad for him.
