Local needs talk

one of the elders was missing his service bag and suspected that one of the publishers stole it.

he was determined to root out who did it so he decided to give a local needs part on the ten commandments focusing on you must not steal.. he enlisted the help of a trusted ministerial servant and got him to stand at the back of the kingdom hall during the part.

he told the ms that he would read off the ten commandments and when he got to the one "you must not steal" he would pause longer than usual and see if anyone acted nervous or suspicious.

That's pretty funny considering the whole alleged "bloodguilt" aspect of the WTBTS's reason for insisting that all JWs preach door-to-door. - Keeping “Clean from the Blood of All Men,” The Watchtower , October 1, 1960, page 608.

Ezekiel 3:17-18: “Son of man, a watchman is what I have made you to the house of Israel, and you must hear from my mouth speech and you must warn them from me. When I say to someone wicked, ‘You will positively die,’ and you do not actually warn him and speak in order to warn the wicked one from his wicked way to preserve him alive, he being wicked, in his error he will die, but his blood I shall ask back from your own hand

So all you active JWs take heed: according to the WT lawyers you no longer need to preach. You aren't creating the "danger" of Armageddon, Jehovah is. Let him warn them!

Elder and MS Extortion!

the elders and ministerial servants at my hall were asked to attend a strange meeting last night.

the society is asking for our help to raise $10,200.

they are seeking to raise this money in april from elders and ministerial servants in our circuit only.

Apparently God needs money. How can the all-wise, all-powerful Creator of the Universe be so bad at handling money?

Maybe it's not him. Maybe it's the people he entrusted to care for his Domestics (no wonder we're waiting on the appointment over the Belongings).

But that still means God's not so good at hiring people. Maybe he needs a new HR Department. Jesus, are you listening? Daddy's coming and man is he pissed!
