  the wording in the subject-line is taken from a bible research-thread, started by mds on feb 3, 2000 (see link below).

  it dealt with the wts as the faithful and discreet slave.

  the reason why i take this part of the original thread to the main-forum is, that it brought back to my mind some questions, that i have never been able to answer.

  Or maybe, just maybe, when Jesus spoke of his "little flock" in Luke 12:32, it was because they were such a small number then. Scripture clearly shows there are not TWO classes, but rather ONE CLASS of Christians, God knows no favorites. The "other sheep that do not belong to this fold" mentioned in John 10:16? The "fold" mentioned was the Jewish Nation, the "other sheep" were us gentiles. For Jesus goes on to say that the "other sheep" will join the fold, there will be ONE FLOCK. (John 10:16).

  144,000 is 12x12x1000, it symbolizes fullness (1000) by 12 tribes, and 12 apostles preaching to the nations. 144,000 is symbolic of the fullness of those who are redeemed of Israel and the gentiles. SO easy guys, stop making in hard.

  Governing Body Exit Doors

  consider the exit doors for the governing body.. we know that there was no authoritative governing body before 1976, so i will limit the scope of this thought to the time since then.

  how do members leave the governing body?.

  exit door number one: death; taken by most.. exit door number two: disgrace; taken by a couple.. exit door number three: triumph; taken by raymond franz.. has it ever been the case where a governing body member has left because of senility?
