it talks about a hebrew legend recorded in the medieval alphabet of ben sira regarding a lilith who was adam's first wife, who preceded eve.
in this version, lilith is created from the earth, as adam was.

by Yerusalyim ini relate the following not to toot my own horn, but that of someone who really came through for me.. my wife and i have taken in three of my nieces five kids.
the kids we are now caring for are ages 7 9 and 10. the niece was indigant and i believe she is on drugs.
i know she was prostituting herself.

Another computer question.. Debugger?
by Cassiline inwhat is a debugger and why does it always seem to start when a popup comes on to the computer screen?
i have hit yes to debug and no.... hitting yes usually is a long process and freezes my computer and hitting no usually kicks me off line.
is there a program like defragging i can run to stop this nuisance?.

Well, your other option is to go to Tools then Internet Options, then click on the Advanced tab and deselect the Script Debugging option, directly under the Browsing subheading. Probably easier than my earlier suggestions....mea culpa.

It also means that you have programming software on your computer, whether you are using it or not. You may need to CTRL ALT DEL to find out what programs are running. I bet you will find there is a resident program running that was installed at some point. Also, look in your Startup folder for any programs that are launching when Windows starts. You can also go to the Control Panel and open the Add/Remove Programs icon. Look under installed programs and determine if there are programs that make reference to programming in Java, or VB script, or other programming languages. Unless you use them, remove them and this will most probably solve your problem. Feel free to email if you need help, or you feel uncomfortable changing your computer's configuration by yourself. Its hard to know the exact remedy without further details.

The closest thing I ever heard of was this group of elders that went to this sister's house, where she was being cared for by several family members. The same family members that called the goon squad to begin with. She had serious mental problems and was clearly quite out of control. It was never clear if she had stopped taking medication, or simply never had, but my feeling is she had stopped taking it and fell into a deep depression and psychosis. Her husband ran off with this young and very cute, and knocked up, JW waitress chick.........So, the elders come over and she's totally freaking out. They pray over her and read scripture and claim to have commanded the demons to leave her in the name of Jehovah, etc...She apparently calms down and everything is good...They also remove this plaque with the christian fish symbol on it from her home. They declared that had been the root cause of her problem and she never had those problems again after they removed it. Kind of dumb, but the closest thing I was ever aware of.

ts1...you need to figure out what it is you really want. Having your spouse on the other side of the argument sucks, but it all comes down to your desire for the real truth. It may be that discussing your feelings about WT issues with JWs will do you some good. Most likely though, a couple of things will happen. The first you will get more frustrated. All the argument you will get from them will lead you righ back to the bible, specifically thier bible. Two, you will harden the hearts of your loved ones against you. That's where it gets really unpleasant. Do the right thing for your own sake. Take a stand for your own intelligence. I wish you the best. Now then...

Mav, you're exactly right. There is no discussion is the congo....It isn't allowed. There is no democracy, only the dictatorial rule of the elders. Most brothers and sisters wouldn't think of bringing up things or having a valid, logical discussion about any of the topics that we think are important. Why? Because if you do, you become the dissident, or simply "not upbuilding", the APOSTATE. Keep living in your land of make believe and you'll do just fine. Lets talk about who twists words. The JWs have taken so much of the bible out of context it's not even funny. You say that posts like that of Alan are meaningless and have no purpose. To this I would say that every poster here who brings up the smallest point, or causes us to pause and think is relevant and important. What we are least interested in is a THE mentality. You know, the one where Jehovah still reigns and doesn't allow for intelligent and reasonable conversation. Perhaps you need more pictures in the posts you read, or maybe stick to the Watchtower and Awake.Sincerely,

anew, I assume you are posting in my general direction. The NZ police ruled that the death was of natural causes...i.e he drowned, he fell, etc..Indeed he was in fact found in a lake. There is nothing to suggest foul play, rape, or murder.
