  Wow! This is comedic and so realistic at the same time. I live in a different country and this is EXACTLY how dubs behave before and during the memorial.
  -The graphic images of Jesus bleeding out on some past memorial invitations, and the invitation bombing in the days prior.
  -The cold, emotionless, fake smiling and sparse conversation they regard as socialization prior to and after meetings.
  -People opening their eyes during prayers, some reaching for gum.
  -The itemizing of new potential recruits: "Oh meet my study." "My study this, my study that."
  -The droning monotone of the 'kingdom songs' with some over-zealous voices being heard over the monotony.
  -Gossiping about the partakers, crazy or not.
  -The marketing strategy of keep on telling you how 'important' this event is:" The most important night...blah blah.", but that most of those in attendance won't partake. Setting up a special little club, a caste system, a segregated clique. You vs them.

  i noticed there are several similarities between amway and a cult..

  Where I'm from ALLOT of dubs have fallen for and continue to fall for pyramid schemes. From local ones to network marketing scams like Organo Gold, Noni and Amway to Nigerian *business opportunities*. Once they are in they turn on their charisma and spread the 'goodness' of the scheme with the same zeal as the ministry, resulting in a great witness of their level of materialism and gullibility.

  i am surprised i have not noticed this before, particularly since this is one of the most important statistics, and so have just added the new graphs to watchtower publisher statistics.. the number of bible studies generally trends roughly with the number of publishers on a one to one basis.

  however, the number of baptisms has not been rising.

  this has resulted in a rapidly falling conversion rate.

If everyone who runs a website exposing the cult makes sure most content uses terms dubs would be likely to search for, and that their website is search engine friendly, soon the official propaganda and information spinsite will be lost in a sea of links exposing the TATT.   No wonder there was need for New Light ™ which renders the 'opinion's' of the 'anointed' of no consequence. I've never heard a satisfactory explanation as to WHY the figures have been increasing. It was a gaping hole in hull of the SS WBTS and needed to be plugged for many years. I wonder how long it is until they have New Light ™ mandating that the total partaker figures no longer be published.

  Or maybe they will slyly decide to publish only the local totals, making it hard for people to tabulate worldwide.
