  pro-illegal immigration advocates are fighting president trump’s efforts to keep illegal immigrants out of the united states.

  trump wants immigrants to enter the usa legally and in a controlled manner so as not to tax the local economies of their resources that will burden the local law abiding citizens.

  I say if they wanted them before, send all of them to those locations. They won't be getting any tax revenue off of those folks, and they will be using all their resources. My only question would be how long will they hold out before crying "Uncle".

  I remember a conversation I had with a JW only days after I sent in my dissociation letter, and no longer considered myself JW. This person was trying to guilt me into coming back, by telling me that I was being selfish because I would not be there for my loved ones in the new system. I won't go into a long drawn out conversation that happened, but I did make two points. The first was so what if I was not there. The dead doesn't know anything, or care for that fact, and second who in the hell would want to live forever under all their rules, for all eternity. To me that sounded just like hell. That life would truly be unbearable, could you just picture how much worse those pricks would be. The longer I am away from that teaching, the more insane it sounds.

  Personally what I wished they would do, is for those coming into the country, show proof of vaccinations, and if they don't have it, put them in quarantine for however long it takes those viruses to show up or show that they are healthy, then charge them for the expenses of doing so.

  DrunkinLove, It sounds like from you was saying that he was given a choice on who he would choose, and sadly he made his decision. What I am going to tell you is this, you deserve better than that. That showed he does not love you, and never has, regardless of what he told you. People say that word all the time, but they don't mean it or don't know what love really is. First and foremost, if he loved you, he would have defended you regardless of whoever was attacking you. If he loved you, he would have wanted everyone to know it, and not kept hidden your relationship.

  Take your time in grieving the loss of this relationship, and take everything from that as a learning lesson so you don't get your heart hurt again in the future. Count yourself very fortunate, because he would have eventually shown his true colors, and it would have been even worse if there were children involved. I'm assuming you two don't have any. Who knows, maybe given a few days it will sink in what he has given up, some people don't realize what a good thing they had until they throw it away. If for some reason he does come crawling back, and you decide he is the one you want, make him work hard to earn you back. No hiding your relationship, ever.

  DesirousOfChange, Yes normally, but at the moment in my own household is a baby that is not yet at the age to be vaccinated for some of the stuff that is going around? How many others are in the same situation, that's what makes this so dangerous for them.

  It has been proven that autism is not caused by vaccinations. The doctor who originally said that had no basis for his hypothesis, he was stripped of his medical license. There is though a link between autism and pesticides, just do a search to find out more if you are interested.

  Personally, I am one of those who believes that children should be vaccinated, but should be done under precaution. What I mean by that is this. When it was time for my children to have them, my mother gave me some good advice (she was a nurse), that being if the child has a fever, even a low-grade fever, reschedule the appointment. I followed her advice, and my children came out just fine. In fact, those very vaccinations actually saved my boys from very nasty childhood illness when they were younger. There was another family in the congregation who we would either go to each other's homes, so our boys could play with each other (ages 4 and 2 at the time). Anyways went over to their home as usual, and my boys were playing with the other boys for pretty close to an hour before their stupid mother informed me that her children had the measles and mumps. I also learned that she was too DAM LAZY to get them done, and for no other reason. Fortunately, because my boys were already vaccinated against this stuff, they never came down with anything.

  I do remember two different children who had a very severe reaction to a vaccination, also discovered that on the day those were given, they were not 100 percent well.

  They said on the news that the French government is going to restore it. I really hope they do, because it will be a slap in the face of whoever took glee in this.

  Not quite the same, but my husband did that while he was under reproof. He went to a different congregation, that didn't know about the situation, and deliberately broke all the rules on the things they told him that he was not allowed to do.

  To make more sense of what woke me up, I'll give you a very brief back story. I had a sister a year older than me that passed away when she was five and a half years of age, she passed away in April 1973. Before her death mom hated the JWs with a passion. She was familiar with them because she has a cousin who is one. Anyways using my mother's grief as an opportunity, her cousin informed her of the 1975 lie, that being that in the fall of 1975 God would usher in his system of things and put an end to this old system of things. Also, and more importantly, she would be reunited with her baby girl that had passed away, because the dead would be resurrected. But the catch was that only baptized JWs and their minor children would survive the big A.

  Going to the meetings as a kid, and even well into my teens I would suffer horrible nightmares, and they were always the same two dreams. At the time I couldn't figure out what would cause those dreams, and for the longest time I could never figure out why. The elders and my mother's explanation was that Satin was attacking me in my sleep, thus the reason for the nightmares. These were so bad that even when I closed my eyes (such as during a prayer) I would have flashes of these horrible scenes in my nightmares. They revolved around death.

  Now to the part that work me up were actually two stages, and they both involved my eldest son. He was 5 years of age when one night he woke up screaming from a horrible nightmare. At first, he didn't want to tell me about it, but I told him that if he talked about it, it would help forget about it. When he told me about his dream, I was in utter shock, because word for word it was the exact dream that I suffered as a child.

  Then a couple of months after that my son became gravely ill, so I rushed him to the ER, at first they thought he would require surgery. For the next eight hours, they wanted to observe him, and they admitted him to the hospital, and he spent a week there. So for a few hours, I was in full panic mode. I attempted to call up my local body of elders, but could never reach them, instead I talked to the wife of one of those elders, whom I thought was my friend. After telling her what was going on, her only reply was, "What do you EXPECT me to do about it?" When I heard the tone in her voice, I told her nothing and hung up the phone. I told my mother what was going on, she said she couldn't make it down (we lived about 2 hours away). Even though I later learned that she came right through my town twice when she went to visit my sister who lived 3 hours away. She didn't even bother stopping in to see us on either way through my town.

  Fortunately, my son didn't need surgery, but for the next month, we had to keep him at home so he could get better and not come into any viral issues like someone's cold or any number of other issues. He did make a full recovery. Not once did anyone from my congregation came by or call to see how we were doing. The last meeting I attended, none one bothered to ask how we were doing, but rather that I better make sure I make it to the upcoming district convention. Something that was said to me, caused something to click in my head.

  Shortly after that, I started my research on the Watchtower. I discovered many things, such as the many failed date settings, how they take the scriptures out of context, and many other things. I also figured out why I was plagued with nightmares, and that my son had the exact same dream, and it was for sure not Satin who was causing them. In case you don't know what I'm talking about, just look through all the pictures in their literature dealing with death and destruction. When it finally dawned on me that the "truth" was not the truth, I saw nothing but red, I was so pissed off, that I immediately threw away all my Watchtower literature, and wroke my dissociation letter. I did wait a couple of months before I sent it in because I didn't want to do that under the emotional state that I was in, after all once that decision was made known by the Watchtower, there was no going back.
