AGREED. I was gone a year from a congregation when I moved. Should never have gone back but I did like a good lil Dub. The whole pressure mess started all over again with the new congregation. I tried to do a fade but there was no way they would let me . They bugged me to death...phone calls, drop in visits by my over-zealous book study conductor, other sisters. All unannounced, of course. They were fishing for something and couldnt find it so they just pestered me to death. Wrote 'em a letter and told them to bug off (FOR GOOD). And if my friend(?) chose to shun me (which she is), too bad for her. She can be their mental slave. Im outta here cause this is NOT spiritual and most definitely NOT LOVE.

in doing so, my wife left the religion at the same time.

in our life we have been very nonwitness in our life.

years ago a young brother barely in his teens... lamar is his name... introduced me to the word, but not the sound.. the sound does nothing but remind me of my grandmother--momo--who died almost twenty years ago.

we... that is, my sisters and brothers and i, spent a lot of time at momo's house.

during the summer, we even spent nights there.

i am having a very difficult time and i am here right now because i know in my heart, that when i explain what has just happened to me a few minutes ago, you will understand.

many of you are no doubt going through the same thing.. within several posts here, i have spoken of my mother.

my dear sweet mother, who just turned 78, and who has been a faithful jw since 1959. she abandoned me in 1981, when i decided to leave the borg, and for twelve years she did not speak to me, write to me, call me, or visit me.

puts plugs in his ears from the start.. now, it don't seem to be my imagination, but many ladies for some inexplicable reason seem a tad unreasonable at least once a month where anything i do seems to be wrong in their eyes.

most ruddy irksome it is from a guys point of view i can tell ee.

here we are, quite happy in our own right, say something to this here balmpot, and wowwwwww irritable utterances just tumble forth with such degrees of unreasonableness tis almost funny to observe, but dare i laugh in their presence whilst she be in this most unpredictable of states?
