Frankly "Scarlett ,I don`t give a damn" what elders say about apostates ,after all in the main they are only quoting what`s been printed in WT publications over the years .And pointing out there errors , false predictions , evidently`s ,maybe`s and apparently`s and so forth.
And passing it all off as Jehovah`s word when he indicated nothing of the sort ?
Your on the right track girl keep reading what ex JW`s are saying about this JW organization.
Would you buy a car off a salesmen trying to sell you a car when multitudes of other people tell you they have been sold a dud by this salesman trying to sell you a car ?

Hypocritical Stance of Jehovah`s Witnesses Over The Years.

they make sure they are no part of christendom in any way shape or form ,the understanding the r&f have of the organization.. the r&f members are not to have any dealings with christendoms religions in business or otherwise.. but what does the jw organization do ?
they sell watchtower property to christendoms churches for profit .. the r&f are to be separate from the world and call the league of nations and it`s successor the united nations the counterfeit kingdom of god ,the abhorrent thing standing in the place of god ?.

The R&F members are not to have any dealings with Christendoms religions in business or otherwise.
But what does the JW Organization do ? They sell Watchtower property to Christendoms Churches for profit .
The R&F are to be separate from the world and call the League of Nations and it`s successor the United Nations the counterfeit Kingdom of God ,the abhorrent thing standing in the place of God ?
And what do they do ? They take up membership with the UN to supposedly get a library card ,while as a pre-requisite for joining they are to produce in the Awake magazine articles in favor of one or more of the UN`s programs.
Which they did.
And they also ,getting back to aligning themselves with Christendoms religions did they support Jimmy Swaggart`s Ministries as a friend of the court in favor of this religion ? getting a favorable decision ?
They also make the claim they have no clergy class within their religion ,yet when a court case comes up they have no problem claiming clergy penitent when it suits them ?
Maybe you guys can give some more examples or even elaborate on what I have brought up ?
i`m sure there are more.

Rank & file JW`s are not employed by the WTB&TS they are just interested individuals who volunteer their services.
Maybe that applies also to Elders and M/servants .
The Rank& file members are probably also just classed as associates.
As Phizzy says it`s all about the money and covering their asses .

In not so many words ,here is how it unfolded ,: I must have been getting close to I`ve had enough of this religion because : There was this elder new to our congregation who was in the same book study group we were in whereby another elder conducted the book-study and they were thick as thieves together and never gave me any thought or anybody else for that matter on a tuesday night when the study was conducted .
It was at the end of a mid-week meeting ,Ministry school Service meeting and this new elder turned around to me and said "we must make an arrangement for me to come and visit you on a shepherding call"
I looked at him and said " dont bother you have never given me the time of day at the book study so don`t come around now " and walked off .
The look on his face when I said that to him was priceless.I`ll never forget it.

i knew some that were the ones someone would talk to to get a “balanced “ perspective.
they were not hardliners.

Trade union membership
by Panka inhi, i am currently supporting a jw colleague with some work problems and have advised them to join our trade union for official support.
am i right that jehovah 's witnesses can't vote or contribute to political funds, but they can join trade unions?
thanking anyone who can help me understand.

In the last job I was in it was a condition that i joined the union otherwise I wouldn`t have been employed ,I had no problem joining the union but being a good JW I abstained from voting on any issue that came up.
I was in that employment for 28 years ,and maybe the last 5-10 years of that i did participate in voting .
I was a MS when I joined the company.

Height of mountains before and after the flood .

and it was explained away by saying that the mountains before the flood were a lot smaller / lower than the mountains that exist today.. so there was no problem .. when the deluge began with so much volume of water now covering the earth ( water being heavy ) pushed down into the weakest parts of the earth and raised up in other parts of the earth to where we now have higher mountains than existed before the flood of noah`s day.. in other words mount everest didn`t exist at its present height before the flood and neither did any other high mountain that exists today ,the topography all changed with the noachian flood.
