How many of you would actually believe a child abuser would let his crime be watched by minimum two witnesses?

in many closed religious cults, sects or globally widely spread religions, sexual abuse on big scale is revealed and covered up by the religious authorities.

in the jw, the culture is to deal with these matters within the org itself, and the rule is, "no crime can be proven without the presentation of at least two witnesses".

men made the rules, men commit these crimes and men defend them and even forse these children to meet and talk to their abusers.

They pick and choose the 2 or 3 witness rule to suit themselves and ignore the same principle when it proves them wrong.

As an example ,there are 3 Bible accounts ,3 bible witnesses that show/demonstrate a generation is approximately 50 years long. However they ignore these 3 scriptual reasons and come up with a ludicrous unbiblical explanation of an overlapping generation to explain away there failed doctrine about 1914 and the generation that will not pass away which they taught for decades.

1.Matt.1: 17 = 42 generations Abraham Born 2018 BC - Jesus born 2 BC = 2016 years divided by 42 = 48 Years .

2.Luke.3:23-38 =76 Generations from Adam to Jesus ,a span of 4024 years according to WT chronology 4024 divided by 76 = 53 years

3. Luke 21:20-24 Jesus died about the year 33 ? prophecy fullfilled 70 AD well within the 50 year generation period. "This generation will by no means pass away"

There is one more biblical witness which also gives a figure of a generation being about 50 years and just can`t think of it at the moment.

However that`s 3 Biblical witnesses that identify a generation being in the ballpark number of 50 plus or minus a few years and not this ludicrous overlapping generation bullshit.

Bucket List for the years A.C.

what things, modest and attainable, will be on your bucket list to do after covid ?

preferably post things you would not be allowed to do if you were still a jw!.

i will start, i want to go to an actual horse race, and have a small flutter on each race..

Things that I didn`t do as a JW ,but now have no problem doing and have no guilt trips about it.

1. Playing the pokies now and again.

2.Buying scratchies from the newsagents where you can win money.

3.Buying Lottery tickets and only last night won more than $800 for a $57 outlay ,not that it happens often but when it does WHOOPEE.

4.When I go to one of my local clubs I often play Keno and have had many a win and many a loss for a small outlay.

The losses are over a long period of time wheras the wins are immediate .The biggest win I ever had was $13600 in one go whereas the losses for a typical week could be $ 50-100 .

And there are usually smaller amounts won over those periods .

5.At one club we have a "Punters Club" where you pick a winner for every race at one course on a saturday ,I usually choose 3 tickets and put my wife in for 3 tickets which are $2 each ,so that costs me $12 for a Saturday .

There are usually 60-70 participants between $120-$140 winner takes all .3 points for a win 2 points for second and 1 point for third ,whoever has the most points takes the money.

Its an interest and can give you beer money for the rest of the week.

Witnessing Work to Stop?

my 87 year old dad called me for the first time in 16 years the other day .... just to chat.

i was floored to say the least since he didn't even bother to call me when my mom died several years ago.

he called again today to inquire how i felt about jehovah's witnesses.

"The Winesses" Oxygen TV { Free Trial } Australia

hi friends this is just to let people in victoria australia know that they can watch "the witnesses" on oxygen channel on tv as a free trial at present .. and as i don`t like paying for anything i don`t have to its paid off .. so the wife and i watched the 1st episode this arvo and its riveting stuff and will watch the second episode tomorrow .. i don`t know if the same deal applies to the other states or not ,just thought here`s an opportunity for aussies who don`t subscribe to oxygen channel to see it for free..

was a new boy and Vidiot ,you both have a valid point.The ARC does not have power to force the Institutions that were involved to join the Redress Scheme to give compensation to victims of child sexual abuse or to even adopt the reccommendations made by the commission but were strongly urged to do so .

And I believe the deadline for doing so expires at the end of this month ?

And what the ARC plans to do with those who refuse to take part in the scheme is to name and shame them hopefully on an ongoing campaign to get some change by embarrassing them publicly and holding them to account for there failure to do so.

But it is true they have no power to prosecute them for not doing so.

I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens.

if white people pushed an agenda saying white lives matter, some people would have a conniption..

I`m not sure the group values anybodys lives including there own. ? In total disregard for "safe distancing" during this Covid-19 pandemic they are putting everybodys lives at risk protesting in their thousands.?

i fully expected to see him 'progress' to clean-shaven in the following pictures, but instead he is still bearded when 'applying bible principles'.. .

i then realized that he was already featured on the cover itself.. .

A couple of times I started to grow a beard and it was tolerated for about 2 weeks or so and then the PO/ Elders came down on me to get it off ,in the case of the PO it was influenced by the hippie types and was a stumbling block,and in the case of the Elder he said it was narcisstic looking at yourself in the mirror grooming your beard

OK so the wife and I watched the second episode today and were just blown away by the arrogance and denial the WT organization goes too in keeping these documents from public scrutiny .

And now that Irwin Zalkin law firm has them and the courts prevents him from disclosing the contents ? ,I just do not comprehend this.

If the Australian judicial system can get G.B. member Geoffrey Jackson and JW lawyer Vin Toole ,and a couple of Elders to appear in the Australian Royal Commission Into Institutions Of Child Sexual Abuse ,which they did , case 29 and case 54 I believe ,what`s wrong with the American system where they don`t seem to be able to do this ? If you are able to watch these u-tube videos of the ARC wherever you are in the world please do so.

I applaud these victims who have had the guts to come out in public and expose what has happened to them in some cases many years ago.And now seek justice ,closure , and a change in JW/WT policy about Child Sexual Abuse so that many more victims wont eventuate .They need to recognise its not just a sin its a crime committed against another person and should be reported to the police.And they need to stop victimising the victim.

Why they haven`t been prosecuted for destroying evidence in shedding notes made by Elders in the Judicial Committee meetings of Child sexual abuse evades me.

It disgusted us to see how the family of these victims sided with the perpretator of these crimes and were not supportive of there own children and even shunning them and ordering them to leave the household is heartbreaking to watch.

I should have paid the price for watching it sooner .

Kudos to the Lawyers that have taken on the WTB&TS , and Trey Bundy and his Investigating Reporting Team for pursuing this continuing crime against children in the JW religion and there refusal to take steps to prevent it, and for putting there public image and the name Jehovah before protecting children in their care .Shame on them.

One other thing that was not brought out in these 2 videos is that these paedophiles are going door to door in neighbourhoods with children in them ,so children outside of the JW religion can also be at risk of being groomed by these people .And this was addressed at the ARC.
