  I was lucky I believe.I started my first job as a leather worker and finished my apprenticeship and after 12 years wanted to get out .Applied for another job and was accepted into a photographic laboratory position .And spent the rest of my life working in laboratories,28 years of my last working life ,working in a refinery.

  That has given me and my family a comfortable retirement life.

  I always held the motto "A worker is worthy of his wages " The KH`s I always attended had people working in jobs or in business for themselves.

  what is the probability that a religious organisation is used for money laundering?

  for example, large amounts of money are raised by the organization as a donation and then legally introduced into the financial system.

  is there any chance that jw.org is used for this kind of purpose?

  Whether it be termed money laundering or some other named Real Estate ? scam ?,I can`t understand why the USA govt.,taxation ,IRS ? if that`s what it`s called hasn`t investigated and prosecuted the GB ? / JW so called religious organization for not being a not for profit organization ?

  When they make billions of dollars in real estate deals and rake in millions of dollars in contributions for charitable works when they do no charitable works at all ? Nothing for their own members and certainly nothing for non members.

  i answered a question on quora about jw flip flops .

  i mentioned, amongst other things , the 1975 debacle.

  how witnesses were told that armageddon was coming in the fall of that year.

  That 1975 being the end of 6000 years of human history was first mentioned in a publication that was released at an assembly in 1969 .i think it was called "Life everlasting In freedom Of The Sons of God" if memory serves me correct.

  And it was suggested there that it would be appropriate for Jesus to then begin his thousand reign.

  What the average JW does not know is that 1975 was not the first date the GB had said that 6000 years would end in 1975.

  Somewhere in their earlier publications you will find they believed and taught a much earlier date was the end of 6000 yrs of human history. And with new light , they had to make an adjustment to come up with 1975.

  If memory serves me correct it had to do with someone called " Usher" chronology" ? being so many years out , maybe 40 yrs ? or so.?

  It all depends on what questions you ask ? If it`s a question that fits in with their theology ,then they might give you an answer.

  However, if it`s a question that challengers their theology you will not get an answer or if you do it will be another question for you.?

  interesting as that is, often overlooked in the inscriptions are the names of the god yahweh himself.

  the writings are themselves apparently practice work by scribes learning the trade and cover many topics.

  Anyone who has traveled learns that the JWs while generally united in loyalty to the WT headquarters display a surprisingly diversity in enforcement of rules and strictness of conformity.

  Most everyone has heard of the 8th/9th century BC Kuntillet ‘Ajrud inscriptions that mention Yahweh and his Ashera, that is that Yahweh was understood as having a female consort.

  Are Jehovah`s Witnesses aware of this ? I don`t think so. And aren`t there other inscriptions elsewhere that suggest Yahweh /Jehovah had a female partner /wife Ashera ?

  If your experience with JW`s are party poopers then you were mixing with the wrong JW`s.

  Our social life was great in the Borg, and we were mixing with Elders and MS that I was.
