Their is always a spike in JW growth / attendance when a natural disaster hits ,or the nations start rattling Sabres against one another .
And once the dust settles and no GT or the big "A" happens their is a few less members than before.

Over time I had some doubts about what was claimed and what went on in practice and then the internet came along ,and I started looking at sites about JW`s ,and the rest is history.
I have learnt more about the religion of the WTB&TS / Jehovah`s Witnesses / IBSA , from sites like this one than I ever knew in my 32 years associating with them.

I wont hold my breath about the outcome for a religious organization to shun members that they consider to have transgressed their rules & regulations .
I think it`s a no go zone for the law to get involved in IMHO .
I would like to be proved wrong though .

Really, it just goes to show you how ineffective their witnessing is if in the birthplace of Jehovah`s witnesses the USA is 1% or less .

Yes ,one was a real nut case who really knew how to use the bible to his advantage against anyone who was in his sites.
I felt sorry for his children and his wife , who were really screwed up by his controlling influence.
This was in Redcliffe QLD.Australia, Anybody from there will know whom I`m talking about.
His wife got her monthly`s twice a month ( I wonder why ) was forever on deaths door and actually passed Cancer from her body ( on the toilet ?)

Have you ever told and Elder or Pioneer, MS to piss off?
by Overrated ini had an elder that was very nosey in my business.
i was so to the point and told him to screw off.

Yes but not in so many words as that.A book study that my wife and I attended had two elders in it that were very clicky with each other after the meetings and didn`t give any time to the others that were in the group.
After a service meeting one time one of the elders turned around to me and said words to the effect that he would come around to my home to give us some or more encouragement ,I told him not to bother as he didn`t give us the time of day at the book study so don`t bother coming around we don`t need you .
The look on his face was priceless.

What normal person doesn`t ? I can`t believe I put on that self righteous hat so many years ago and swallowed that load of tripe dished out by the WT / JW `s ?
I`m glad your doing OK and have a sense of humour to put up with a believing mate , your a better man than I am .
Luckily all my family are out except for one niece.
