When you get screwed over by a JW business man because ,business is business .
And I have heard that a number of times from brothers in various congregations.
Sad but true.
you know you're a jehovah's witness when.... being offered a scholarship to a good university is considered a bad thing.. when you see a house you like you claim it for after your god kills the owner.. you recieve spiritual guidence from a bus driver and a window washer.. you're engaged to a person you only met 3 months ago.. your widowed mother is marrying a man she met at the convention who she's known for 2 weeks.. there's jehovah's witnesses meeting in your house on a saturday morning to talk about going out knocking on doors on a saturday morning.. a lie in on a weekend happens about twice a year.. you dont talk to your own parents/children because they have a different opinion about a magazine.. you're not quite sure what you're supposed to believe anymore.. when someone criticizes your a magazine you feel like you're being attacked.. your 3yo son owns a suit.. if you're not married by the age of 30 you're considered to be gay or something wrong with you.. (for girls) if you havent married the first or second person you've dated you're considered promiscuous or something wrong with you.. you get your scientific knowledge from a magazine written by people who've never been to college and have never actually read the source they claim to be citing.. you get excited if there's a storm or natural disaster.. you get excited when there's a terrorist attack.. you get excited when there's a pandemic.. your version of tinder is the lunch break at a convention.. your girlfriend dresses like her grandmother.. your grandparents, despite being in the same religion as you, died believing totally a different belief system..
When you get screwed over by a JW business man because ,business is business .

i've been waiting for someone to post this and i've haven't seen it yet, perhaps i overlooked it since i don't visit that often.. but here is the link to the discussion.
in it you will find letters and links to this new light.
whether it's true or not, please verify.. as of .
If I remember correctly the rank and file are not members of the organization they are only volunteers of their own choosing so the organization is not responsible for their actions.
But the fact that they are baptised into the organization ,doesn`t that make them members ?
the following is from: cosmos, chaos and the world to come (pp.

marked for later .
the truth that leads to eternal life at a church rummage sale.
1968 printing and a 74 printing of god's eternal purpose now triumphing for mens good.
i know the truth book has some things in it that are a bit damning.
It`s been said before that the WT`s own publications are it`s worst enemy. The gullible Jehovah`s Witnesses buy into the lie that the "truth" gets brighter and brighter
Statements are either True or false when they are made .There is no degree of "truth" it either is true or it is not.
And the statements / predictions / evidently`s / prophecy`s / and so on and so on ,made by the Governing Body of Jehovah`s Witnesses in there publications , in their 140 year or so history have always proved to be false.
so my 88 mil died and was the epitome of a faithful sister.
my wife and her sister are members of the congregation for 40+ years.
to be fair it was short notice but we had the showing and visitation and only about 12 out of 120 of the congregation showed up and only 1 elder!
Ain`t it the truth nowwhat? you nailed it .I`m sad for you and your wife`s loss
spillane, mickey spillane.
he pulled no punches and his pen was as fast as his gun.
after all, it took almost three whole weeks for mickey to type his first novel.
Another great author / writer Edgar Rice Burroughs ,scary21 after you finish the Tarzan series try his Mars series I couldn`t put them down .
I started a post a couple of years ago about Mickey Spillane and commented on his TV series a couple were made one was played by Darren McGavin and the other I think was Stacy Keach ?

I too was a fan of Mickey Spillane`s books , some of which turned into movies and TV series .I was under the impression he became a JW and stopped writing those books ,obviously not from your account.
If I remember correctly he said he became one just by someone putting a tract under his door .
I loved reading his books when I was a teenager. You brought back some fond memories .
in regards to the following letter, that mad apostate posted last week: .
to whom it may concern: .
your harassing inquiries into our personal affairs are not welcomed, and any further attempts at such will result in legal action against the individual harassers, the --city--, --state-- congregation of jehovah's witnesses, the watchtower bible and tract society of new york, inc., the christian congregation of jehovah's witnesses, inc., and all associated watchower legal entities.
I wish I knew about this thread when I posted my DA letter ? Oh well it is what it is .
i was reading through this site the other day and came across several posts by different posters lamenting this site, saying what a shame it has gone from debating jw believers to talking politics and current affairs.. there are a few issues i have with these kind of posts.. first, discussing politics is actually a good thing.
well, in case you haven't noticed, we in the west are going through a culture war.
certain groups of far-leftists are trying - and sometimes succeeding - to shut down free discussion.
A serious question for American voters.:
A Q&A program by the ABC Network here in Australia, had Kim Hoggard on the panel who was a former advisor to Ronald Reagan and George W Bush Snr.
And she made a comment that one of the problems in American elections was that the Electoral College favours smaller States than the bigger ones ?
Can anyone explain why this would be the case ? And what it means to the outcome of the elections ?
hi friends, feel free to correct me where i`m wrong with this post.after all it`s just my observation of jw`s and the bible.. in the beginning of gods dealings with adam it was on a personal level , god to man so to speak.. god then dealt with humans via the patriarchs , then with the levi priesthood ,then judges ,( and a woman was a judge ) then kings ,somewhere in between all of this prophets played a major part ,and then came jesus christ the messiah.. and to my knowledge god has not validated a successor to him with any evidence i`ve seen .. jehovah`s witnesses claim to be christians but have with no new testament backing usurped jesus with jehovah.. this period of time ,until god says otherwise ,christians are to give honour and glory to none other than jesus christ .. that is the name that is above any other name until god says otherwise.
phil.2:9-11. not the name jehovah .the bible never says anything about a kingdom of jehovah ,the coming kingdom is the kingdom of jesus christ with his associate 144,000 earthly subjects.. this is just my understanding of what the bible actually says .. whether i believe it or not is another matter..
