Scenario :

Family of faithful JW`s are going to sit in on a Zoom Videoconference Meeting in their own living room and have sought and are applying direction from H.Q./ Bethel ,in how to allow their 12 year old daughter to attend this family / congregation meeting in there own home as she was DF for smoking . If needed, the elders should remind him / her of when it would be appropriate to join and to leave such meetings.

This is just so insane ,I cant believe I was ever so gullible to join this cult let alone stay there for 32 years .

Batshit crazy goes nowhere near describing this lot ? the mind boggles.

side note: i have been closely following this story for 35 years now, including the past few years of supreme court hearings, much of which dealt with the jehovah’s witnesses kingdom hall bombing..

I remember when news came through that a bombing had occurred in a Kingdom Hall and one person died and there were many casualties .Wondering what`s next ? And is this the prelude to what`s more to come ?And I was living in a different state back then.

It wasn`t long before the JW rumor machine pinned the blame on the sisters unbelieving ex? husband for blowing up the family law court as well as the KH explosion.,because he was incensed at the courts ruling and the help his wife got from members of the Jehovah`s Witnesses.He was no friend of the JW`s at all.

Sure, 35 years is a long time for justice to be served especially for the victims family members to wait.

I guess the law at the time just did not have enough evidence to make the charges stick back then ,because I do believe he was on there radar for a very long time as a prime suspect.

Maybe they have to sit at the back of the room and keep their mouth shut and other family members are t sit at the front of the room and every now and again give a sneering look at the DF or DA one just so they know there place.

Isn`t there a couple if not a few contradictions in WT Theology in this video ? Doesn`t the narrator say that all of the Anointed ,the 144000 will by that time at the start of Armageddon be in heaven ? Didn`t they used to teach that some a small number will still be alive on earth after Armageddon ?

How many times does Jesus take up the throne and start ruling as King ? In the first century ? In 1914 ?

after Armageddon ? How many "King" hats does he wear?

This one I could be wrong about , maybe my memory is failing me a bit now ,I was thinking that Gog of Magog appeared after the one thousand year reign of Christ Jesus when Satan was let out of his prison as a final test for humans before he was cast into the lake of fire and sulphur. ?

from washington state to new york city to atlanta and california and so on, you see thousands of demonstrators trying to get rid of police, statues, monuments and anything they consider racially biased.. do you think this type of activity and destruction is working well for the country and it’s law abiding citizens?

Thoughts on Sunning and blood Doctrines.

i have a couple of thoughts on the blood and shunning doctrines, both of which have been covered well before.

here, and on j.w facts.com and elsewhere.. but i would like to point out the following, the only scriptures they can use in reality for their blood doctrine are the verses from acts chapter 15. o.t verse are really out of the question, and dishonest to use on their part, as they do not follow most of the injunctions in there!.

the context of acts 15 is a council of the apostles and others in the jerusalem congregation, to decide what they should ask of gentile christians in the way of behaviours and practices etc, as jewish christians were demanding they comply with the mosaic law, or were, at the very least offended if they did not.

The ARC into Institutionalised Child Sexual Abuse by organizations highlited the evil cruel practice of the Jehovah`s Witness organization of the policy of shunning of its members and especially the victims of sexual abuse by the organization.

I have yet to see any further naming or shaming of any institutions religious or otherwise or any other restrictions / loss of funding etc,put upon them for not joining up to the Redress Scheme set up by the Australian Government.

There was supposed to be a meeting to have taken place on July the 8th that I have heard nothing about .

If anybody has any information about that it would be much appreciated.

before the elder "arrangement" came in to existence - we had congregation servant..assistant cong servant ..

And would you believe the first congregation I ever attended, two fleshly brothers filled both those positions. And their mother and father were held in very high esteem in the congregation.

The Assistant Cong.OS `s girl friend at the time played the piano at our KH wedding in 1960 .

Years later on I heard the asst.C.O.S.was charged with pornography and his then gf/wife committed suicide by walking in front of a train.

And as the person who related that info to us commented how the parents were once on a pedestal were now brought to such a low.

A very sad story.
