  uk court case - does anyone know if there are actual court cases docs online to do with a may 12th news item on the watchtower's official website?.

  the news item says that the court of appeal of england and wales dismissed an application to appeal a decision of the high court upholding the watchtower's right to follow bible directives regarding disfellowshipping.. it's proving difficult to find online docs about this..

  How service is being conducted with the zoom meetings

  a friend of ours who is married to a jw said that this morning for service everyone who was on zoom got to do a call while the rest listened in on the call.

  there were thirty-one this morning listening in on one who would call someone to preach to.

  shouldn't the person they are calling on be warned first that there will be so many listening in on their phone call from the zoom meeting.

  I wonder if they could be sued over that ?

  Don`t you have to inform a person that your conversation is recorded and you have the opportunity to accept or decline it being recorded ?

  To do so without the persons knowledge is a violation of that persons privacy.

  Before coronuviras hit our shores I attended a healthcare gym for elderly people where they have tips on a video screen to make you think .

  One such sreen/tip that caught my eye was : words to this effect :" One patient has 10 different I R scans and can get 10 different results .

  What ? how valid is an I R scan if that is what you can look forward to ? Does that give you confidence in I R scans and what they tell you?

  Instead of just trusting in doctors as though they were God and couldn`t get anything wrong we need to put them to the test and challenge them on everything they say.

  Nobody has anything to say on the OP video on when children should be going back to schools?

  Steve Chalke does make some interesting comments about disadvantaged kids being set even further behind in their education through no fault of there own ,coming from poor families etc.

  Maybe that`s another issue that the education dept. and politicians need to look further into.

  If I had school age children in todays environment ,there is no way i would be sending them back to school anytime soon .And I doubt that many parents would do so ( however much they would love to ) but the health and well being of their children overide the potential setback of maybe a year`s education comes secondary.

  just my 2 cents worth.

  so my wife tells me yesterday....on saturday we having a emergency disaster class on saturday.

  kinda like most corporation have and it's through zoom.

  What we are going through now is a world wide disaster of sorts and all that JW's have to offer is information that they've cut and pasted from government guidelines and empty soothing words but nothing in terms of tangible help.

  So true, so very bloody true.Never was a truer word said.To coin a phrase.

  i don't know if anyone remembers me on here but i'm here to do an update again.. well, i'm 15 going on 16 soon i still remember watching my first video on youtube and learning that all the jw teachings are false and everything that follows.

  crazy times, i have chosen to just focus on school and just trying to be a kid well a teen now but you get the point.

  i'm not really mad about all the jw stuff i've come to accept that i couldn't have done anything to prevent it i was born into a family that was already into the religion.
