A friend of ours who is married to a jw said that this morning for service everyone who was on zoom got to do a call while the rest listened in on the call. There were thirty-one this morning listening in on one who would call someone to preach to. Shouldn't the person they are calling on be warned first that there will be so many listening in on their phone call from the zoom meeting. Her husband couldn't believe it. He said at one time only two could go to the doors and now you can have a congregation listen to the jw and householder talk.Once they hang up then the next person does a phone call.

sounds like thee true story, where one person witnesses to a bus driver, and then suggested that the whole tour group ( going to a Gilead graduation)' could "report time" for that. or was that because they all sang kingdom songs ,were vocalizing, and that was counted as "witnessing" to him?

I hope WT get's busted for calling people. People are so cautious about their privacy now days. This is gonna bite them!

I wonder if they could be sued over that ?

Don`t you have to inform a person that your conversation is recorded and you have the opportunity to accept or decline it being recorded ?

To do so without the persons knowledge is a violation of that persons privacy.

    Very interesting.

I think Watchtower are really afraid of their end of year figures going down. It would show very clearly that they are not protected or blessed by jehooba. Im pretty sure there must be a law against sharing a video presentation with countless others. Although surely the householder would see they are being fimed

Perhaps the publisher doing the call could open up by saying, "please be aware that this call is being used for training purposes."

I'd suggest the householder should reply that their time costs £100 trillion per nano second and please could they have the names and addresses of both caller and all publishers listening in, together with their email, mobile phone number and bank account details. By continuing the call it wil be assumed all of them agree to these terms and conditions.

Payment will be taken in advanance so would they mind telling you how long the call will last.

This kind of tele-witnessing was shown as a training sales-presentation at the midweek meeting over zumm. The camera zoomed in on another j-witness, playing the role of the hapless victim, not an actual customer out in the field.

This was at the Saturday group meeting on zoom and not a midweek practice meeting.

This is shocking! Invasion of privacy reaching a new outrageous level. And all the zoombies count time for being implicit in the obnoxious activity?!? What is the matter with these people.....rhetorical question.
