  in this year of 2020.. i`m sorry i do not have the nouse to make a link or attachment or whatever and hope someone can do so .. i know, i had doubts about looking at it also , its on jw.org ,whats new or something phillipines memorial and an experience was given their about a young pioneer girl that had eyesight problems and how she got her doctor and hundreds more to go on line to watch the special talk .

  An old time friend from the past sent me this link a week ago trying to encourage me to come back to the religion and asked me what I thought of it ?

  I said I would if she could reply to my 2 questions first fair enough ? So far I haven`t heard back from her and I will let you know if and when I do.

  The 2 questions I asked her was to do with Jehovah`s name and the Christian Greek Scriptures ,especially the KI publication the WT brought out ,the word for word Greek to English that didn`t have an equivalent greek word for Jehovah .

  And the other one was to do with the charge that was given to Christians ,followers of JC to witness about Jesus with over 20 such scriptures and not one saying anything about being a witness for Jehovah anywhere in the NT.

  Over the years she has always still kept in touch, a little bit eccentric and we had a lot to do with her family and mine. And she is not backward in coming forward about having a go at the Elders that she doesn`t agree with .

  How much money do these 2 have and where did they get it

  I`ll bet they have a lot of money stashed away somewhere and seeing that none of them work in the real world they must siphon off some of the contribution money ,maybe a tithe ,they could justify that ,how else can they afford designer tailor made suits ,pinky rings and expensive watches that they wear ?

  And no doubt deck their wives out the same way.

  just read article today blood plasma from recovered corona patients to be transfused into the seriously ill to see if antibodies in the blood can help.. i guess if your a witness you can just pray and write your will..

  Do the Jehovah`s Witnesses /Governing Body members tell the rank and file members ,how much they have made dollar wise $$$$$$$ in the sale of all of their properties in New York alone ? In these past few years ?

  I don`t think so .

  And what about all of the sales of K H`s ,Assembly Halls ,and Branch Office`s around the world in these past few years ?

  I don`t think so .

  So much for being up front about what they are doing . or being open about it ?

  JW patient with covid-19 received blood transfusion

  i had a patient admitted from a skilled nursing facility/rehab that is an active jw.

  the patient had covid-19 as did most of the patients at that facility.

  typically the local elders are all involved in these admissions but there is a strict no visitor policy which includes clergy.

  I have seen it a few times myself.Hopefully I haven`t been guilty of it.

  His blood transfusion wasn't to treat COVID-19 it was to treat his anemia.

  The tragedy is when Witnesses reach retirement age totally unprepared. They have been told there is no need (and are criticized if they DO prepare). They are led to believe Armageddon will come in time to save them and they should be in their ministry and not bother their pretty heads about annoying things like earning a living.

  And they end up living in Aged Care facilities run by Institutions of Christendom whom they have lambasted their entire life as the Anti-Christ .

  Because the JW Religion does not in any way or form look after the aged volunteers that have given their life in serving for the WT religion .

  They in effect say the Govt. or Christendoms Religions will take care of you we have better things to do than look after the elderly who have spent most of their life slaving for us.

  After all they are only volunteers ,it was their choice to volunteer,nobody made them do it.

  And to answer the OP question ,the Mormons ,however the JW`s are the most damaging.

  so, if you expect to find 'saints' with halos, you will never find real christians.. after over 30 years of being a jw, there are many things about the org that disturb me- yet no one else even acknowledges the only true god, as jesus referred to him.. not a 'they' or 'them' ('trinity')- but him!and he has always had the name jehovah (yehovah in hebrew)- even though the koine greek had no version of it when the nt was written.. so among the many things real christians have to endure- is often each other!

  MCL ,Do you believe "all scripture is inspired of God and beneficial teaching,for reproving,for setting things straight,for disciplining in righteousness " 2 Tim.3:16

  I presume you do, then why haven`t the Bible writers ,Apostles ,Disciples ,not to forget Jesus Christ himself ever uttered the name / word Jehovah / Yehovah under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in recording the Christian Greek Scriptures .?

  Where as over 20 times in the C.G.S. written under Holy Spirit the writers admonish Christians / followers of Jesus Christ to be witnesses of him and not Jehovah.

  Phil.2:10 "in the name of Jesus every knee should bend" as in worship and not to Jehovah. "and God gave him a name that is above every other name " including that name of Jehovah.

  These are God`s words written down by men under the direction of Holy Spirit .

  "Aid To Bible Understanding" Acknowledges Yahweh is probably the more correct pronunciation of Gods name .

  And that they chose Jehovah because it was the most popular name in use.
