  after the new construction project is announced, anthony morris the turd gives a talk where he arrogantly tells the audience to 'get over it' and get to work.

  he says relaxing is fine and 'im not trying to put a guilt trip on you' but you all need to get busy.

  no graciousness at all for the endless volunteer labor they demand for whatever new projects they dream up.

  Yes I too would like a link to this talk to see / hear and judge for myself though I don`t doubt your both assesments of the talks.

  However it is good to see for oneself.

  I think the god of the Bible is referring to all of the Ex JW`s who are coming out of the woodwork now with all of these different ex Jw sites coming up and all of the people who are joining ,eveyday their are newbies joining .

  Its very encouraging and even exciting to see so many new ones.

  The Watchtower and Awake magazines are not the most read magzines in the world they are the most distributed / printable magazines in the world ,and thats a big difference .

  And in a lot of countries nowadays they are either free or on a contribution basis for obtaining one.Otherwise they would be taxed by the governments.

  8.5 Million volunteers distributing these magazines all around the world its not surprising they are the most distributed but even thats debatable because many JW`s dont even place the magazines they have and end up putting them in the recyclable bin.

  It is probably more accurate to say they are the most printable magazines by a publishing house today.

  Many of these mags are just left in places with a high traffic of pedestrians with the hope they will be picked up and read. Many are just left at houses where people are not at home hoping they will be read.

  So this article stating the WT and Awake are the most read magazines are wrong and the journalists obviousl;y havent done their homework to make such a statement .

  I noticed that was in the WT in 1963 ,so thats probably out of date now and nu-lite has been shining on them since then .

  I`m thinking of people who identify themselves as JW`s who excel in sports or are celebritys of one kind or another , who can make a considerable size donation more than the average R&F JW .

  We have one or two in our neck of the woods.

  And the GB /WT keep their mouths shut about counselling these guys ..... I wonder why ?

  the abc is a government owned media group, and today's web-page included this story:.

  its formatted as answers to specific questions, and in response to the question, "why did you stop believing" comes a story we hear much too often.. the special thing about the story this time is that likely millions of australian will read her story.. https://www.abc.net.au/life/i-dont-want-to-be-a-jehovahs-witness-anymore-or-lose-my-family/11885098.

  the article also reminds us that australians are giving up on religion in increasing numbers.. quote: "it seems australians are increasingly giving up on god — or at least religion.. on the last census in 2016, nearly a third of australians (30 per cent) reported they had 'no religion' — the highest number of people ever to do so, and up 11 per cent on 2006.".

  I have recieved an automatic response from ABC saying they will pass on my query to the relevant party however due to the overall volume of general mail they recieve they hope to respond within 30 days .

  As you say fts it is only at present available on their web-site as far as I can tell.I did indicate to them that I am on JWN so who knows if they will make contact here ?

  Gwyneth Paltrows candles in the wind

  are you put off with gwyneth paltrow`s marketing of a brand of candles she advertises as "smelling like my vagina " ?.

  she sure has gone down in my estimation as an actress and /or role model for young women if that what she was ever about in the first place .. how gross is that ?

  and the interview i saw after this with her was one big joke ?

  How gross is that ? And the interview I saw after this with her was one big Joke ? No regrets that she made a bad choice or bad decision . She just laughed it off .

  I put it in the subject of entertainment simply because she is an actor ,but it was anything but entertaining.
