  i need someone to help me email a copy of cofc pdf to a few jdubs i know.

  i plan on sending it to people i feel are on the fence and need a little shove to get them started.

  Thinking of becoming a JW.

  hi,.

  i am new to here so please be bear with me.. i have always believed in god, but was never baptised, my parents wanted me to make up my own mind religon wise.. i am thinking of becoming a jw and am just needing some advice on how to do this, bible study and jw beliefs.

  also do jw say grace and how.. i am greatful of any help.. thanks.

  Hi Kate, Sorry to hear about your seizure coming back.

  My youngest son had seizures for several years. When he had his first seizure he was about 6 years old. I was a JW but at the time separated from my JW wife and not attending meetings.

  The elders suggested to my wife that his seizures were most likely demon attacks because I was not being loyal to Jehovah at the time. They used the scritpure in Mathew where the boy had seizures and was demon possessed to back up their claim. We did find some medications that did a good job of combatting those demons.

  There are some good medications to help with this so visit your doctor if you havent in awhile.

  ever notice how completely out of touch some (most?

  ) public speakers are?.

  last week we had a speaker ramble on for fully 1/3, maybe 1/2, of his 30 minute talk on the evils of "rap music".. i don't believe the term "rap music" has been uttered by anyone under the age of 40 for at least 20-25 years.. this week we got another "older gentleman" warning us about the pervasive dangers of "internet chat rooms".. again - didn't "chat rooms" die out about the same time as dialing up to connect to aol?.

  intel on warwick project

  the committee assigned to build the new complex was called into a meeting with the governing body.

  they were told " you finish this project by january 1 2017. we want the keys to the complex and will be headquartered there by that date, do you understand?".

  when the brothers protested and said that it would take 6 years for the project to be complete and if they moved that fast there would be many mistakes, the gb responded, "we don't care, that is your deadline".

  I seem to remember from when WT first purchased the property that there was another owner or potential owner who backed out because of nickle contamination in the soil from a previous WWII factory at that location and there were some cost issues to abate the contamination.

  On that it would be nice to see the EPA get involved and slow down the project!

  I know someone who lives in Warwick but can't call them for details since I am an evil apostate. I was told by this person once that the town is so picky about thier image they wouldn't allow mcdonads to build there.

  If the no preaching is true, the local congregation would have to know at some point since they hold the territory maps. Those publishers would have to be told something about not preaching there anymore.

  If someone was inclined, they could call some of the city councel memebers and act like a reporter doing a story, ask a few questions about the WT building project and then ask how the city will handle the hundreds of door knockers once they move there. Might be able to get some confirmation directly from the source.

  i had an interesting conversation with bobby (*some names have been changed) last weekend.

  he's also a successful fader going back several years before me.

  but i found we had something in common that i hadn't realized.. bobby had never been particularly happy growing up.

  The WT ogranization has FAILED to deliver on its promissed dreams. This can lead to psycological depression without even knowing the root cause.

  JWs, take contol of your life and start making your own dreams. This will lead to a happer life.

  I personally had similar experience to Billy and after 15 year fade have never been happer in my life.

  An elder recently stopped by before the memorial to invite and see if I had any interest in coming back to the org... I thanked him for the invite and told him if I decided to come he would see me there. To myself I thought, why in the world would I ever want to go back to that depressing lifestyle.

  Apostate: From 279 Facebook friends to 81 overnight... thanks MOM!

  the drama continues, i log on to facebook this morning and notice that i have about 20 some odd personal messages from people calling me an apostate to they will return to me when i return to jehovah.. all of this based upon my brother informing others that i have "apostate thoughts".

  my mother also encourage long-time famil friends to "unfriend" me because i have taken my stand on the side of satan... wow.

  don't you just love this international brotherhood.

  I have found a girlfriend, but there is something I've been hiding from her

  all is well and good in my life right now :) with one small catch... i have a secret that i have hidden from my girlfriend.. for the first time since coming out of the borg, i have found romance.

  i was lucky to meet a girl called romilda (name has been changed), and we get on like a house in fire.

  we have been in a relationship for a few days now, but some of my friends have pointed out that i should be honest with her and be straight about my sexuallity.

  You should be honest and tell her.

  A few years ago my neighbor put his house up for sale. The house sold, but not yet closed. One day we were in our yard when a realtor drove up and then another car with a young man, the both went into the house next door. We did not think anything of it since the for sale sign was still in the yard.

  About 10 minutes later, my neighbor drove up, came over and we chatted for a few minutes, then we said something about the showing of his house, he looked a bit surprised... walked over to his house, went in, and to his surprise, there was the young guy on the floor letting the realtor enter the back door.

  Needless to say this freaked him out and he went off on them doing the dirty in his house. Turns out the realtor had a wife and children at home but also liked men and would often do this in houses that he knew were sold. How would this guys wife feel if she didn't know he was bi?

  Would you want something like this to happen to your new friend years down the road?

  Be honest and tell her the truth even if she leaves. Not telling her is selfish and dishonest on your part.

  Just go directly to the lost and found when you get there and there will be dozens of badges. Take one and then put a sticker over the name with another name.

  being very interested in psychology i read a book as a teenager and re-read it last year called " gestalt therapy verbatim " by frederick perls m.d.

  it deals with dreamwork therapy in which he conducted seminars helping people to re-connect with subconscious parts of themselves by recounting their dreams .

  Interesting about dreams. I almost never can remember my dream, but I don't do a very good job of trying to either. I had a dream last night that I didn not even remember until I saw this post.

  I was climbing up high on a mountain with my sons, one lost his footing and fell hundreds of feet to the ground. I watched in horror as this happened. There was some sort of slide at the top but was very hard to get to, I made it and managed to slide down to the bottom.

  When I got to the bottom, my son was alive, but he could not remember things. He did not know who Tommy Lee Jones was. Why Tommy Lee Jones? I have no idea, have not watched any of his movies lately, he has not been in the news, etc.

  I then woke up.

  What does this mean?

  Question for Believers - Why did god "create" poison ivy, poison toad stools, and marijuana?

  if he created them, then he would have had to use divine intervention to protect people from eating them or burning them.

  even after being told not to and passing that knlowedge on, small children could inadvertently get into poison berries or mushrooms.

  what about bacteria that causes extreme stomach problems like giardia?
