okay we've all beat our chest, lamented and throttled the dead horse of aawa.. time to move on!.

i suggest those of us on j-w.n who care about creating something the right way take the trouble to get the framework going.. let's do the grunt work and get the nattering, debates, naming and organizing already pre-approved so that "others" who have the talent, ability, motivation and resources can move in and turn the key!.

because it was not done before.. there is more wisdom on this discussion board in our vast numbers than there could possibly be in a virtual boardroom with 8 people brain-storming.. that isn't an insult--it is just a statistical fact!.

A formal organization to expose the WT is just another cult.... an anti-WT cult.

XJWs have no desire to trade one cult for another.

Grass root efforts such as this letter writing is the way to go IMO. Anyone can get involved who wants to. We each can give of our time and resources freely, without having a corporate structure bogging things down, then abuse you when you don't follow the party line.

The power of many great minds can come together for colaberation that is just not possible with a corporate cult.

Lot's of talk on the July Watchtower?

so i've heard lots of talk from within about the 'new light' in this watchtower...i'm yet to look at it in any detail.

i'm kind of surprised actually...i first heard about it here before it was even available but close to the time it did come out people started bringing it up - even our co.. some say things like "have you heard about this?

" or "big changes," or "allot of things they said we believed, i didn't realize,"(lots of that) or "brain-overload" or " too much information, but i've never felt more pumped up" or "it's soo exciting to see jehovah's spirit lead his organization..." or "it requires time to sink in, but it's a good feeling!

Sounds like the actions of people who are spiritually starved. They are so starved for new light that the GB can feed them a plat of dog crap and they lap it up like spaghetti.

I am confused by the "reserrection" doctrine. Who will be raised first Old testament people or people who die right before Armaggeddon?

i have always wondered who will be raised first people such as noah, job, enoch, etc; or people who die right before armaggeddon?

if noah, job, are raised first would not they be terrified with all of the modern inventions they will see such as cars, airplanes, clothes, watches, tvs, radios, and all of the modern technologies.

also, if people lived to 900 years back then would not methusalan be shocked if a person raised tells him they were only 20 years old when they died?

So if he/she were to do what you suggest and do all of that research, then he/she will get the answer to who will be raised first? People of old or more recent generations? Somehow I doubt it.

Villagegirl, booker-t would have to clarify the scope of his question, but that is the way I took it since he/she put the word "reserrection" in quotes was they were asking about what the WT doctrine is. After all, this is a JW discussion forum.

So if booker-t was asking for our general opinions on the "reserrection" doctrine, why not offer up your interpretation instaead of bashing other posters for the contributions they make? How about answering his questions then? What is the doctrine of the "reserrection" according to Villagegirl?

If he is asking for our interpretaion and not that of the WT, then I would refer him/her back to 'return of the parakeet' and 'bigmac' for the correct answer.

Villagegirl, Blondie was just showing what the WT doctrine is with reagrd to reserrection. There is no better way than to show right from the source what the WT doctrine is. At least that is the way I understood the OP question to be asking.

How would you expain the doctrine if not to use their own words? Your own interpretaion?

Anyway, a random thought on the topic. Wouldn't any people who died of natural causes or were murdered just before the big A starts be the most lucky people in the world? They didn't have to suffer through the great tribulation but will still get reserrected. Hopefully they will listen to the 'truth' or they will just have to die again in 1,000 years.
