Help! Help!! Desperately need DOGGIE help!!! Help with a doggie!!!!
by ziddina ini hope this is the correct category..... since pets are kinda sorta like "family", anyway..... a friend of mine (who lives about 25 miles away, in the center of the city) recently lost her beloved six-year-old spayed female daschund doggie under very tragic circumstances.. her other dog, an eight-year-old neutered male daschund, has been inconsolable since her loss.
so my friend decided to adopt another small dog - a spayed female daschund - one that was rescued from a breeder..... this poor little dog has lived in a cage for her entire life!!!
all six years of her life - in what was, in effect, a doggie concentration camp.... she is not "socialized" in any way, shape or form.

Don't brush off the kennel cage idea..that is what they recommend..as some said to leave the door open for them. That was their home and that is where they feel safe. My daughter has a rescue dog and he still doesn't know anything about socializing. He just stares at you if you throw a ball at him. Thankfully he has attached himself to their other dog..she helped show him how to eat and potty etc.
He is terrified of storms and tries to get as high off the ground as possible. He weighs 150 pounds so he just climbs on the couch and digs frantically or jumps on their bed and digs in the pillows. He pants and tries to hide on July 4th . I think he was left outside in storms and possible got a lightning strike on his cage or someone hit the cage and jarred him..he doesn't like the noise at all. He also eats a lot. he would eat till he throws up if he was allowed to. He also eats feces..it has to be cleaned up in the yard daily. I think that is because he was never out of the cage before and they get bored or hungry. The list goes on but as far as the cage with the door open in a quiet place is what he needs in my opinion and a few others here..they feel secure. I know many that even leave their dog in them at night time..The dogs don't seem to mind.
Watch Cesars show if it is on where you are..he does a lot of rescue work.
I'm sure you can find a lot of info on the internet.

In this modern information age, don't JWs browse the Internet for information at all?
by DilemmaGF ini am just curious, there are tonnes of information about the wt and the stories of its hypocrisies in the internet.
are they aware of all these?
or they just obediently go to the www.watchtower.org only, and never feel curious enough to click on other link that mentions about jw, wt etc.....

I had one girl tell me her JW mom says the internet is evil ..and refuses to use it.
I have other JW's that are on the internet (facebook) all the time..go figure..
Typical of the religion..

One thing that I learned as a JW
by Jim_TX ini was thinking the other day about what 'good' things that i may have learned as a jw.
i know that i probably have a few 'good' habits, as a result of being a jw... of course, i've also picked up a few 'bad' habits, too after leaving that religion, dammit.
(<--- note: for the humor-impaired, i'ma cussin.).

"Angel of Light?"
by Snoozy in"2nd corinthians 11:14 and no marvel; for satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.".
did you ever wonder ..jw's are the only ones that are constantly talking about all this light they have?...
could they be from satan himself?...
