  If it was legal, would you have more then one spouse?

  often what we accept in society, is based on how and where we were raised.

  for example, in some countries it is okay to have more then one spouse and arranged marriages are how you marry.

  often we take these examples, and others that happen elsewhere, and label them as just wrong.

  No way!!

  As it is, I don't know if I ever want to really be married again. It'd be nice to have an exclusive relationship with someone but I am not sure I want to merge households again.

  I happily celebrate my daughter's birthday. Now that I have had a special visit from Cancer, I will be HAPPILY celebrating each and every birthday that I have as well. Each of my daughter's birthdays will now be milestones to me.

  To me, right from her very first birthday, I could see that birthday celebrations were not wrong in and of themselves. There is nothing pagan about it. I was so happy that my daughter was in my life, healthy and happy at age 1. When her second birthday came along, oh my, more changes and milestones to celebrate and enjoy and even reasons to be thankful to God and give him praise.

  As both her and I come upon our birthdays this year, we will have many reasons to celebrate and be thankful. I guess I won't ever think it is wrong.

  in another thread the question of a person's memories being placed within a re-created body has been discussed.

  the possibility was raised that what if two bodies were created, and the person's memories were placed in both bodies?

  which re-created person would be the continuation of the original person?.

  Very interesting topic. I would guess they would just say his life force was transferred into the womb. I would assume they would say that because Jesus was quite aware of the process of creation, the power of Jehovah's holy spirit, he was confident that all would be fine as he chose to submit to the transferance.

  My Wife is pregnant, wow!

  the day i was told i was going to be d/f i my wife also did a test and found out she is pregnant.

  yesterday she went to the doctor and she is already 9 weeks.

  i can't think of a better way to move on and create a new and wonderful life.. i am 36, going on 21, and have a 19 yo step son and 13 yo step daughter that i love dearly.

  Slippers / shoes at book studies

  hi everyone!

  was there ever an issue as to whether you were / weren't allowed to wear shoes at a group book study in someones house , so everyone had to dump their shoes at the door?.

  Quite a few requested to leave shoes at the door. Thankfully, one of the sisters would knit all newcomer a pair of slippers to don as soon as you walked in the door. I still have them.

  She has cancer. What about her job?

  my son's wife was diagnosed today with lung cancer.

  it wasn't a big surprise to anyone, including her.

  until now, this 44 year old was a lifetime smoker.

  Rather than quit she could get the doctor to put her on disability .......... you don't want her fired, she will lose her medical insurance.
