I watched a YouTube video recently about the proceeds of sales of kingdom halls begin siphoned into hedge funds. And only a minimum balance is being kept by the washtowel to run itself. That might be the reason for this big money soliciting, tithing scam. New laws about tax havens might be coming in after recent investigations into big companies using overseas banks to hide their money to avoid tax. For eg. The Bahamas.

If there is a god, he hasn't made himself known to me. But I am still early in my recovery from dubdoctrination. I want to believe in a god. The bible is full of contradictions. So I will have to keep searching elsewhere.

a very close classmate of mine met an accident and died last nite.... just 4 months after i da'd from the borg.. if i am still in, i wouldn't be so sad.
he has the hope of resurrection.. but now that i am out, i realise that resurrection in paradise is all bullshit.. so what's next?

That's what is so toxic about this cult. False hope. When you discover TTATT, it is a great shock. It could be described as grief equivalent to the death of a loved family member. Or any other life changing event that you haven't even thought of at your age such as losing a job, divorce, domestic violence, ect.
Time is a healer. Keep your mind occupied. Play a sport. Voice your concern on this forum. Remember we are all going though the same issues. That is why we are here.

by poopie ina friend of mine called last night we will call him tom.
he is df now for 2 yrs for associating with a a df person non relative.
anyway he arrived at the meeting this week and was informed by 3 elders that he was no longer welcomed at the hall.apparently he was caught greeting someone in the parking lot after meeting.
