growing up i had the opportunity to live for a while in a farm like place with all kinds of animals.. mom and dad always taught us kids early, what to watch for because there were dangerous animals and insects roaming around.. snakes, black widows, brown recluse spiders, and so on.. there were times when i would just sit by this huge tree and wonder why jah would make all these animals that were dangerous, and hard to see, until it was too late.

Personally, I think working for the best requires some universally beneficial guiding principles, without which, we regress towards predominantly selfish behaviours.

PTB: right, the human species with it's mostly controlled, organized behaviour is perhaps already too successful of an evolutionary story. We are overrunning the good parts of the planet. The invention of an unseen, watchful deity, aka "religion" , was part of that internal control mechanism.

Not that a shaper or creator of the universe should not be thanked., recognized.

It was the norm to have the "friends" housed free in the convention cities, freely fed even, at one point, until wt inc discovered the inter-corporate benefit of going up-scale. (remember the rooming work?)

The chicken story shows that the diets in those areas are mostly staples, with meat, raised without benefit from Monsanto and Bayer, as an expensive rarity.

It is comical to see these humble people dressed in make belief corporate suits.

god’s name disappeared in the christian greek scriptures and its pronunciation got lost in the hebrew-aramaic ones.

the current vowels of the hebrew pronunciation of god’s name are taken from the “adonay” (“lord”) hebrew word which were the vowels chosen by who did not want to pronounce his name.

whereas the current latin pronunciation of god’s name (“jehovah”) was introduced by raymundus martini, a spanish monk of the dominican order, in his book published in 1270 c.e.

Job 31 v 11

in job 31 v11 it states that an inappropriate sex act is a crime not a 'sin'.

if this so between adults then it must extend that it is so if children are involved.

but the wt refers to paedophilia as a sin..

A precursory statement to the coming " thou shalt not covet--" part of the ten commandments. At par with what Jesus said about "anyone that keeps looking at a woman so as to-- has already committed adultery--" so:

the "sin" referring to is not an actual contact sex crime, , unless you include " voyeurism " laws, ( the installation of cameras, two way mirrors in showers) for example.

has wt ever disfellowshipped anyone in a "keeps looking at a woman" case? ---- for pornography perhaps.

I Don't think the jw kids today are afraid of the Elders or the Governing Body, like the jw kids of pre-internet era.

something i've notice with born in jw kids posting on reddit, is that they have no problem telling off the elders.

this generation of born in jw kids just have no fear of who the elders represent because they know from researching on the internet, that jehovah is a created character by ancient people, and no different or real, than thanos.. these kids know exactly what's going on with the child sexual abuse in the organization.

they also have read and memorized the elder's book online.

Most of them are just waiting their time out until they turn 18 and move out.

pp. and they are encouraged to move out because the elders are afraid of the elders . The parents that are elders that is, -- because one little faux pas by the kid while living at home will cost the parent their prestigious position. Other elders gleefully pouncing at the chance to remove a competitor.

regarding what some have said here about the wt being a false prophet.. i would like to make my point regarding the wt not being a false prophet... so please, if you can be patient enough to read this, at least try to understand what i am getting at.. a false prophet is one who, according to deuteronomy, makes a false prediction of the future and claims that the prediction came from god, or in other words claiming that 'god has said he will do a certain thing at a certain time' etc.. for example, hypothetically speaking, if someone had claimed: "god will bring about the end of the world in 2010", they would have been proven to be a false prophet, obviously.

but, as an example, imagine a man who claimed the position of a prophet of god, (as moses did, because although he was not the type of prophet that predicted the future.. he was still a prophet or spokesman for god) and that he had publicised worldwide, according to his interpretation of a (for example) prophecy found in the book of isaiah, that the world would end in 2010.. and he had also stated that he was not saying that god will end the world in that year.. but only that there was biblical evidence that god might do so.

that would clearly have been a mistake.

and it is not just about predictions. prophets might maintain to speak for god ! period!, or expound about current realities.

during the 1920 ies, 30, 40 50, wt removed The Father and Son from their supreme position, and classed them only as the superior authorities, whos' identity through context and by "false religions" was identified as the governments and agents, from the dog catcher to the likes of Hitler.

that is one for the records, false spokesmen, "let god be true". not. --- so,

in reality, the future course is calculated , determined by past positions, and it is the future that counts. scary prospects for wt and it's followers. feel sorry for them.
