  there was a part about pine trees in california mountains at regional convention.

  the brother/organization lied about how old they are.

  he said oldest tree is 4200 years old when it is actually 5000 years old.

  l came to this conclusion based on the fact that humans are imperfect living in an imperfect world.the bible was written by imperfect human hands and is impossible to interpret with 100% accuracy.religion is man made to help control the masses..

  Religion, looking at the word I think of my ligaments, allowing muscles to pull, some are getting weak with age and I like to re-habilitate them.

  IF something binds us to a possible creator, it would be following his creative example, deeply enjoying work, caring in a family, without sentimentality, rewarding success.

  Bad bible story example: re-connect with god by sacrifice? carrion vs vegetables.? carrion wins and gets you killed? try something useful instead that benefits life, advances knowledge.

  humor plays a big part in a lot of humanity and we all like a good laugh but as far as i'm aware god's supposed word has no actual humor ,of course apart from being a joke itself ,why wasn't there a passage or something like "jesus farted and giggles broke out among them " or something, is anyone aware of any notations of humor ?

  the building was located in a ***strip mall**** in florida.

  just watching this video about a bethel member, single again - gives advice at morning worship.he tries to convince young 16 year old girls who visit bethel and eat in the cafeteria to marry him.he offers the full blessings as wife of a prince in the new world and gives arguments that speakfor a fast decision... shocking stupidy.

  in another video of ex-bethelite (how women are treated) a bethel elder is mentioned who talked to brothers at the table and gave advice abouth marriage and said that it would be the best to marry a women when is as young and pretty as possible, (at 8:45) so you have the possibilty to train her and to mode her in to what you want and get her used in the roles you set for her..... other bethelits made big errors and married older women 24,25.women that would have their own concepts of what bethel or marriage should be.

  i suppose this is one of those pieces of news that could have been posted in the entertainment section.. yes, isis fighters have been caught by the iraqi army trying to flee mosul dressed as women.. some have been caught wearing the full face veil.

  a sensible choice, as it hides those masculine cheekbones, heavy jaw or five o' clock shadow.

  others have been more creative, dressing like prostitutes in a shakespeare play.

  a nearby star, ross 128, about 11 light years away, seems to be putting out some rather remarkable radio waves.

  discovered by the arecibo observatory in puerto rico (the one shown in the move contact) other observatories like the allen telescope array are set to begin observations in the next couple of days to make sure the signal really is coming from interstellar space and isn't caused by instrument malfunction or radio waves bouncing off satellites.

  it could be anything at this point (but very-very unlikely aliens).
