  jesus did not use his (superhuman) skills to prove the existence of either god or immortality of soul.

  further, he did not answer direct, important questions put to him (mathew 21:23-27; luke 22:70 …), and most importantly never defined ego—the root cause of all problems ….

  however, einstein, whose business was not spirituality, still defined ego as “optical illusion of consciousness.” this definition helps a lot because when one internalizes the idea that ego is only an illusion, he knows how to effectively deal with it.. .

  Protecting Syrian and Kurdish groups from being obliterated by Assad.

  feel sorry for the Kurds, gassed by Saddam and Assad, and the neighbouring Armenians, Yazidi, other minorities.

  In this conflict, The West and Russia acting as policemen, caught in a domestic fight, attacked by all parties? and not just shooting at at the ground but also each other?

  Even the Terrorist attacks everywhere could be not just targeting the west but each faction in exile. So: is Australia expecting to get terrorism payback because of flying in Syria, Iraq ?

  Is it not also strategic, to get a corridor, one way or the other from Russia, Iran, the Gulf directly to the Mediterranean, another ice free port, a crescent of Shia crescent flags through Sunni territory? A many faceted diamond, the hardest substance.

  As much as I hate to see Europe being underwhelmed by a "fleeing" population, I feel for all there, even the young men caught in the middle.

  US /Russian air battles ? has happened before, Korea, Vietnam, and probing on coast lines around the world.

  i was pretty young in 1975, all i remember was a few complaining at the hall after and those at the door that razed us over it.

  does anyone remember how they went about denying it and when this started.

  i do remember a scripture in psalms about people being mighty and living longer so this was used.

  Who holds the Burden Of Proof?

  when we as former witnesses wake up and choose to leave the society, it is mainly because we value truth and honesty.. the society tries to make out that we are in the wrong.

  that we have "left the truth".. but, who really holds the burden of proof?

  do we (who leave) need to prove that the society is not the "truth", or does the society need to prove that it is the "truth".. thoughts?.

  dying in flames is a very painful death, hopefully many that died were spared that needless suffering because passing out from smoke poisoning, or asphyxiation, falling asleep for lack of oxygen.

  always hoping for the best, even for the ~60, nearly same number, that died more recently that way in Portugal .
