than how did he warn other pockets of civilizations that were hundreds or thousands of miles away?
and if they were destroyed anyway i thought jehovah only acts after he gives clear warning.. and if there were no other civilzations why the need to destroy the entire earth of every living creature?

Smiddy, you forget that the flood, (just like the future reverting back to paradise) was a time of monumental change. (the pyramids were build at the same time);--after the flood, of all universal, total herbivores, some became meat eaters, so who says the metabolisms in the water creatures were not changed at the same time? after all,talking too was taken from snakes, and bestowed on donkeys or asses. may be the pre-deluge waters in the heavens had all these phase changing qualities?

A major misadventure!
by Bungi Bill inhi, everyone.. i haven't posted here much in quite a while, but having just been laid low by injury, i'll likely be a frequent visitor for some time to come!.
two weeks ago, i was involved in a workplace accident that left me with my lower l.h.
leg fractured in three places (the tibia and fibular both broken clean through, plus another crack in the "neck" of the fibular for good measure!

River flowing from the garden of Eden
by joey jojo inhey there.. if this point has been covered before please forgive me.. i have had the principles of noahs flood used by jw's to encourage me to attend meetings recently and this has got me musing about the flood....again.. genesis states that a river flowed from eden and branched out into four rivers, two of which being the tigris and the euphrates.. heres the baffling part; if it had never rained before, how is it that rivers existed before the flood?!!?.
a brief google search tells us that the euphrates begins its journey as snow melt and rain ( as most rivers do) in mountains in turkey.. ecc chapter 1 mentions the water cycle and describes the rivers flowing into the sea but the sea not becoming full.
how did it work pre-flood?

yes, the river is in the city, the city has 12 gates unlike the one or two of Eden, Angels guard them, (swordless) . River and trees of life in Rev. guarded like in Eden.
