Voters are going to the polls in the Netherlands in the first of three crucial eurozone elections this year.

The voter turnout might set a new record.

What do you hope will be the result?

For the guy to win who isn't the one who wants to ban mosques and Muslims, because someone like that winning would convince J.W's that the Great Tribulation is very close, like they all told me when Trump won.

A Muslim ban. Every immigrant who wants to receive citizenship will have to trample upon a flag with the name of Allah printed on it or spit upon a holy Qur'an. But why stop with Muslims? Christians who want in will have to blaspheme the holy spirit. Jews will have to consume a shrimp buffet with a side of clam chowder.

I know... it will never happen. But a demented psychopath can dream...

I voted here in Holland, today.

What a great victory for democraty.

    Rows of voters everwhere.

JW's are missing this moment, taking responsability.

Who wins, let's see. The Dutch are not crazy.

To those aware of my positions, I'll hope that the more inclusive parties will win.

EXIT POLL at 21:00 : MARK RUTTE, big winner 31 seats

GEERT WILDERS, down to 15 seats

So, no populism on power here.

Maybe the high tide mark for worldwide political insanity has already been reached.

The United States said: we'll see your Brexit and raise you a Trump.

And the rest of the world says: no thanks, we will fold.

This is the first national elections since I left the JW. Didn't vote. I honestly have no clue what to vote. Tried to use multiple voting advice websites that show which parties best fit your opinions, but to no avail. Apparently answering 'meh' and 'dunno' to most questions doesn't help. Ignoring politics for 35 years and priding yourself in being 'neutral' is an effective method to create such a situation.aybe next time....
