by Steel init's canada day today and not just any canada day, it's canada's 150 birthday.
for some strange reason i was actually able to reason with my wife day and she agreed with me.
field service on a special day wouldn't be appropriate.

Interesting Thing My Little Girl Said Today

i have her tues, wed, fri evening and saturday all day.
which means my ex takes her to sunday and thursday meetings but she doesn't go door knocking on saturday because she's with me.. i dont mind - at the moment - because in a way i want her to know the jw jargon so we can talk about it without having to explain what it is, and i want her to compare the bullshit to the real world.

explanation? girls get to discuss real doctrinal stuff from the platform. wt boys only read the bible aloud for years. for some reason we stifles its males, pampers the females. a girls religion. Most "in" born in wt males are not mental giants, almost doctrinal illiterate.

Illogical illustration of “the rich man and the poor man Lazarus” (Luke 16:19-31)

if one reads between the lines, one can discern that this illustration is a later adoption intended to exploit the rich using the poor as a means.. i have friends who are extremely rich (net-worth in billions) and also who are materially very poor, and have found both are living in hell because of their attitude.
the excess the rich have prevents them from enjoying it (and even the affluent find a huge gap between income and desires, hence find themselves often in conflict and competition) and whereas the deprived compare themselves with the haves which prevents them also from enjoying their lives.. jesus would not provide an illustration that undermines his own most favored statement: “happy are those poor in spirit because kingdom of heavens belongs to them” (mathew 5:3) and his own explanation that heaven is the condition of one’s heart (luke 17:21) obviously he had in mind those who do not have the baggage of attachment and sense of possession, those few people of simplicity that belong to both the categories—the rich and the poor. simplicity is the ultimate sophistication, a stage where every possession serves a purpose living a life that is deliberate and intentional (not one that someone else has scripted for them) and wanting to feel more complete (not more objects of the world), at ease.

The writers of that Lazarus bible story introduced the concept of survival after death, almost transmigration of the soul as punishment into the bag of Jesus doctrines. one doctrine too far.--- fetched imo.

with the tribulation so near, and people going to throw their money French = argent, silver; german = Gelt, gold into the streets, --- he put it in real estate. I always reminded them at that point, they threw it in front of their dwellings , not because it had no value, but because they feared to be tortured to reveal the hiding place, cut open if they were suspected to have swallowed it. The only thing that the controllers believe in is their power. their purchasing proves it. -

Convention invitations
by dothemath inso everyone is supposed to get all excited about the invitation work starting tomorrow, according to the announcement from the platform.. maybe this makes sense if you're giving out invitations in the city where the convention is, but what if you're many hours away?.
a huge part of western canada is scheduled to attend edmonton alberta this july.
so how does that go over giving out invitations in winnipeg, about a 13 hour drive(that's just driving time).. i know some are actually planning on flying there, so i can't see getting excited about getting the public to make the trek.. i was curious how this is going over in other areas?.

when moses wanted to present 10 commandments and other laws, he naturally wanted to prepare the israelites with a mind-set that ‘we must obey god, otherwise it is problem for us.’ the best way for this was to modify a well-known story of fall from other cultures.

That is a valid question—why could not have the faithful ones who were living closer to the time of creation written something about creation? V:
Moses and cie lived only ~1/4000 closer to creation than us, and they were blind, compared to us with our better and better seeing aids. They were not dumb, do not run down your ancestors, but creation is still live streaming!.
