I have read a few article and found they are really just opinion masked theology.

So we started at a new hall
by Steel inwhen i say we, i just mean my wife.
we moved to a community of maybe 20000. this hall claims to have 160 publishers but i have my doubts.. the most shocking part is there isn't a single child in the hall.
we just moved from a hall with at least 12 kids under 10. watching the people shuffle out this morning made me think it was some dying denominational church.

Damm they are an old bunch. I kind of laughed.
Meanwhile my mother just told me two young and rather large Syrian refuge families have basically renounced Islam and started to attend her church.
Funny what happens when you offer people basic human needs instead of magazines.

This is just child abuse.
Social service should just place these children in foster care.

Why did Jesus not use God’s name Jehovah?
by venus inno one doubts jesus extensively spoke about god’s kingdom because he said: “i must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of god to the other towns also, because that is why i was sent.” (luke 4:43) yet christian sects are divided over the subject whether jesus used god’s name or not.. it is said that god’s name jehovah was revealed to moses.
however jesus knew moses was not trustworthy.
(mathew 19:8) moses born and brought up in egypt could have been influenced by egyptian knowledge.

New testament writers are looking at the oddities in the old testament when it comes to the appearances of God in the scrolls.
God often refers to himself in the plural , or God is invisible but there is some kind of Devine manifestation that people deal with. Usually the angel of the Lord or word of the Lord.
The general idea is Jesus is this second manifestation of God that people see and deal with but who really is just God also.
Thus the reason Jesus never calls his father LORD, jehovah or yahwah.

Hitler didn't consider the British as sub humans that needed to be either wiped out or enslaved.
The 400000 British only got out of Dunkirk alive because the nazis let email.

Fighting the United Kingdom meant you were fighting Canada, Australia, new Zealand, south Africa and potentially millions of colonial troops. Also the Americans wouldn't be far behind.
Hitler extended some mercy to English soldiers at Dunkirk in an effort to have a negotiated peace with the British Empire.
Hitler has no Quarl with the British. He was really about finishing off the slavs, jews and communists.

"You're going to die in Armageddon"
by Jules Saturn ini'm sure i am not the only one to have heard this come out of the mouths of my loved ones.
it's a very painful thing to hear, especially when it comes from the people like your own parents/family.
even after i've been told that, they would say "we'll just continue life without you.

Tell them you are going to be raptured out of here before anything really bad happens.
Send them down a theological rabbit hole. It always fucks them up.

Jesus Christ was anti-family
by deegee instrong family ties & family values did not matter to jesus:.
- a person must hate his or her family and themselves in order to be jesus’ disciple (matthew 10:37; luke 14:26).
- jesus will give a big reward to those who forsake their family, abandon their home, leave their family behind for him.

I always understood those verses in terms of leaving groups like the jehovah witnesses or Islam, when leaving a certain group to become a christian could actually cost you your family.
Not my child smoked a cigarette, omg I can't talk to him any more.

Lack of open-mindedness
by ilikecheese ina lot of religious folks can have an open-minded discussion about their beliefs without getting defensive.
some can actually consider things from another point of view and point out the validity in the other person's point.
obviously, a lot of jws may just be scared to think/speak in a semi-detrimental way about their religion.

When my wife was pregnant an elder wanted to have a meeting with my wife which I showed up and ended.
The elder asked me what I thought of his authority.
I told him in have two uncles that have eight year degrees in divinical studies from major universities. You aren't even allowed to research the history of your organization much less have any type of secular religious education.
I think you are a janitor that hands out magazines. Have I answered your Question?

Watchtower Doctrines JWs most commonly don't believe
by Diogenesister inthere was a recent thread on another site where posters maintained that many of the *most* long-standing jw's don't believe at least one official watchtower doctrine.
i've even read reports from bethelites saying they've heard bethel overseers say they don't believe some watchtower theology.
this made me think - i believe there are a few official doctrines that are common for many jw's to be either in denial about or simply not really believe ( often one and the same thing).. i'd say these are pretty high in the ranking:.

I don't think the average jw likes to admit they essentially teach salvation though works and obedience and there dogma is one is outside of having a relationship with God.
