Sounds like governing body will be making a big push for monetary donations during the 2017 AGM and want to make sure that they fleece every last coin from the flock. Having a new label put on each local congregation's own donation box is a real sign of desperation.

What Could Jehovah’s Special Provision Be to Save His People From the Wicked Watchtower Society?

i was baptized as one of jehovah witnesses in 1986. then in 2003, i disassociated myself officially with a letter.

but i did not stop reading the bible or believing in god.

but i have noticed everyone’s reaction here is very different to the great wickedness of the watchtower society.. some of us do not believe in god anymore, and threw their bibles away completely.

Why do jehovah's people have to be within or under the control of the Watchtower Society to begin with? Why can't they be trapped by Sea Org instead of trapped by JW Org? Why can't they be Buddhists for whom the light has not yet gotten brighter?

The bible says that god will take out a people for 'his' name but we don't know exactly what 'his' name is. Besides, god is the one that will take out a people for 'his' NOT a group of people will decide to take on 'his' name and claim to be 'his' people.

in my experience, i have been taught by both teachers—male and female.

some of the female teachers were too wonderfully effective.

The apostle Paul taught to be 'all things to all people.' (1 Cor. 9:19-23) He simply taught a message that appealed to his audience at the time in the first century.

INTERVIEW WITH ALEX RANCE after Grand Final win on almost leaving Richmond for the JW cult:

Rance was asked about next season, despite it being minutes after tasting the ultimate success this year. He offered what words he could on the challenge of keeping this "special" group of Tigers together.
"I couldn't be more proud of the boys ... I love them all ... I hope not (that anyone leaves), after you win a flag it is pretty rare so I am going to just enjoy the moment, I can't think that far ahead."

she actually won an emmy for this show.

rumor is that she might take on jehovah's witnesses in season 3. .

I believe that Scientology and the JWs both registered on the same day as religions to take advantage of newly introduced US tax exempt laws for religious charities.

lots of contradictory and nutty comments - for instance stating one minute that 1914 proved such a faith strengthening event because it fulfilled all their predictions, how encouraged they were, and then a few minutes later claiming the opposite - that many were disappointed and shocked because their expectations were not met!.

Evidently jehovah read the jesus inspired Finished Mystery book, published by Watch Tower in 1917, which made, on page 144, the following claim in relation Revelation 8:3

"And another angel. -- Not the "voice of the Lord," mentioned in the preceding chapter, but the corporate body -- the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, which Pastor Russell formed to finish his work. This verse shows that, though Pastor Russell has passed beyond the veil, he is still managing every feature of the Harvest work. The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society is the greatest corporation in the world, because from the time of its organization until now the Lord has used it as His channel through which to make known the Glad Tidings."

Ftn. The word 'organization' is used but not in the context that David Splane used it.
