I asked my contact at the UN when they were going to turn on religion. He replied: "We don't know, but soon, very soon. At the present time the UN Counsel does not know whether they or someone else are the wild beast, the harlot, the king of the north, the king of the south, the disgusting thing, the Assyrian, Gog, Magog, or even an overlapping generation of leaders. The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses keep changing their doctrinal teachings and interpretations on the last days. We are ready to declare 'peace and security' and to fulfill all the Bible prophecies but the Jehovah's Witnesses keep limping upon two differing opinions. Do they want the end to come or not? If they would only give us the go ahead then we can turn on religion and solve all of mankind's problems. Perhaps the light will get brighter and finally we can all get an answer and bring about true peace. We got excited with the bunker video even going so far as lending the Watchtower our special forces team for the production shoot but nothing happened. It was another let down. If the Governing Body don't make up their mind soon, very soon, then the UN will eventually turn on them."

No updated Watctower's articles on Evolution
by opusdei1972 inas far as i know, the "creation" book is out of print ?, am i right?.
well, i was searching for new watchtower articles trying to debunk, for instance, human evolution.
so, i did my homework, for the first time, so as to read past and updated papers and books on human evolution.

I had the joy of discussing evolution with two JWs last year. They did not know who I was. I took the angle of defending evolution.
One of the JWs said to me "there is no proof that one animal evolved into another animal. If apes evolved into humans then how come we still have apes?"
I laughed to myself as I replied: "There is proof and it involves monkeys. One generation of primates, or monkeys, overlapped another generation of primates, or monkeys. Even though they overlap it is still the one evolutionary generation, the one species, an overlapping generation ... [pause] ... of monkeys. It was about 50 years ago that evolutionists developed the overlapping generation ... [pause] ... of monkeys to primates to mankind to help explain to religionists who could not grasp the truth about the truth. Since that time the overlapping generation has been used by countless numbers of individuals in an attempt to irrationally explain their teachings when logic and records simply don't exist or work. Surely you've heard of the application of the overlapping generation and how it applies to monkeys? One monkeys life overlaps with another monkeys life but they are still the same monkeys. They're an overlapping generation. You must be familiar with the overlapping generation ... [long uncomfortable pause] ... of the monkeys to mankind illustration?"
The look they gave each other was priceless. I had to control every nerve in my body to prevent myself from breaking down in laughter.
The overlapping generation

Traditionally the governing body of jehovah's witnesses have approved the use of the Watchtower magazine for theocratic men and weasels in controlling and subjecting their wives and children.
However, a rolled up Watchtower magazine used to be the thickness of a man's thumb but with downsizing and cutbacks it's now no thicker than a pinkie finger. To compensate for the wee pinkie size of male jehovah's witnesses the governing body released the silver sword edition of the bible. This silver sword is able to cleave open the hearts and minds of all those who refuse to recognize the Watchtower appointed headship of window washer elders.

How long does it take to get a response from the branch office?
by Homer notsimpson indoes any one have any experience with writing to the branch office?
i know they're busy, but while reading through the shepherd textbook, it says to write to them quite a few times.
so if a body of elders write to the branch office, whats the usual wait time for a response?

Elders getting burnt up.
by biblexaminer inthe elders in this area are getting burned out.
i have overheard comments that demonstrate this, but in my dealings with them, i clearly see it.
they can't keep it straight.

JW elders are not conscripted. They volunteered. They had free choice. They have rights albeit at great cost if they assert them.
Only JW children are conscripted. They did not volunteer. They have no free choice. They have no rights.
What sort of a loving god never thanks his volunteer elders but instead demands more and more of their time until they burn out in frustration? What sort of a loving god entraps his volunteer elders and turns on them when they need some down time?
If Jesus' load is light then why is the load of elders so heavy?

"New Light" and the Watchtower's quasi legal disclaimer
by jwleaks infound this interesting quasi legal religious statement at the bottom of this 》》》 jw.org page advertising "bible-based books and magazines":.
some updates made to digital publications may not yet appear in the printed edition.. glad to know that jehovah and the governing body have seen fit to inform the entire world that certain doctrinal teachings of "truth" may differ between digital and print edition of the watchtower magazine and bible-based books.
doesn't say much for the credibility of the guardians of doctrine.. confusingly, some of the doctrinal teachings, particularly in the online versions of bible-based books and magazines from the watchtower, have already undergone updates but these updates only appear in the new digital version of the new printed edition.. good thing we have a digital-only version of the "research guide for jehovah's witnesses" which is updated every year to contain all the references to the new teachings and interpretations of the bible.

Good thing we have a digital-only version of the "Research Guide for Jehovah's Witnesses" which is updated every year to contain all the references to the new teachings and interpretations of the bible. Unfortunately this digital publication is not updated regularly to coincide with new digital updates of bible-based books that contain new doctrines and teachings.
This of course begs the following questions:
If the digital publication "Research Guide for Jehovah's Witnesses" refers to a Watchtower publication then is that publication the printed edition or is it the digital edition?
If the digital updates and editions are not available in my language then am I still under the old
mosaiclaw of the Watchtower in the printed edition? -

It's just getting worse for Apple and their new MacBook Pro.
Seems it won't connect to any printers you have nor to any peripherals nor to you internet router. Why? They MacBook Pro only comes with a Thunderbolt 3/USB-C port. So you also need to buy, and carry if your mobile, a dongle which doesn't come with the laptop.
https://www.cnet.com/news/macbook-pro-usb-c-accessories-touchbar/
But the MacBook Pro does come with a headphone jack for your headphones or earbuds, which, by the way, are no longer compatable with the new iPhone which has no headphone jack.
