  nk has taken another important step towards having a viable nuclear arsenal with the successful trial of an icbm.. kim jong-un says new missile is 'gift' to 'american bastards' from north korea on independence day.. one major hurdle left for kim jong-un is working out how to make his nuclear bombs small enough to be delivered by the missile.

  that is not an insurmountable obstacle.. the us sate department have issued a statement stating that it "will never accept a nuclear-armed north korea".

  how exactly to prevent this outcome is not clear.

  It is rather interesting that the US will not accept North Korea, a country that hasn't invaded any foreign country ever, as a nuclear power, while the US themselves are "acceptable" as a nuclear power, despite the fact that they habitually invade foreign countries every few years for the past century, and having already used 2 nuclear bombs against civilians.

  A nuclear capable North Korea with it's current unstable and irrational regime is in the interest of no one. It also poses a direct threat to South Korea and Japan, and by extension to their allies as well.

  I don't see any viable options the US can take to prevent a nuclear ICBM capable N.Korea apart from military intervention. China and Russia both seem unwilling to put further pressure and there's not much S.Korea/Japan can do.

  I met a 104 year old man today

  i was at a mall trying on shoes and this old man is in a wheelchair near me.

  says how he thought those shoes were sharp and he had never worn brown shoes before and that he is 104 years old.

  i said no way and asked what year he was born.

  Ok. But that wasn't your argument. You said you are "baffled" that Cofty would turn a common "Bible belt" belief that "all mankind" comes from the common ancestor Adam and proceed to make it an evolutionary matter.

  I was simply pointing out that you have knowingly or unknowingly introduced a strawman, since Cofty's argument is that "all living things", including those not of "mankind", share a common ancestor, one that goes back way before Adam.

  Nimble duck: It's a foregone conclusion that it is accepted in the Bible Belt that we all descend from a common ancestor. How you have made this an issue, and made it supposed proof of evolution is breathtaking.

  Duck, his statement is that "all living things" share a common descendant, not just "mankind", as you've twisted in your argument.

  Convention invitations

  so everyone is supposed to get all excited about the invitation work starting tomorrow, according to the announcement from the platform.. maybe this makes sense if you're giving out invitations in the city where the convention is, but what if you're many hours away?.

  a huge part of western canada is scheduled to attend edmonton alberta this july.

  so how does that go over giving out invitations in winnipeg, about a 13 hour drive(that's just driving time).. i know some are actually planning on flying there, so i can't see getting excited about getting the public to make the trek.. i was curious how this is going over in other areas?.

  many of us here have commented on the deceitful friday afternoon video shown at the 2017 rc that discussed 1975.. the video attempted to shift the blame onto congregation members for the fiasco saying, "some were looking to a certain date as signifying the end of this old system of things.".

  this same video mentions how, “a few even went so far as selling their homes and quitting their jobs.”.

  we all know that the wt leadership created this teaching and endorsed it right up to its abject failure.. now below is the concluding talk given on sunday at the rc.
