  Indeed, it's wonderful to have a community to turn to when leaving this religion. Makes the pain a bit more tolerable.
  

  I was just reading through some of the early threads on this forum from 17 years ago and it really is amazing to see how this community as a whole has come so far.

  Not all churches teach God is "three in one"

  Not all churches teach that the soul is immortal

  The God of the bible is Sadist regardless of whether you go to church or not

  The bible is not clear regarding what judgement there is beyond death, but it does speak of it
  

  Not all churches teach that the earth will be destroyed

  Not all churches teach Jesus was alive those 3 days

  A question for those who still go to the meetings

  and it is ... why do most at the hall prefer to sit at the back and leave front rows empty?.

  even most of the elders don't want to be at the meetings. Most of them find an excuse to get up several times in the span of 2 hours

  So true. I for one thought the best part of being elder was that there was always reason to get up and do something during meeting. Made time go by so much faster.

  so using some amazing features of excel and the starting data here, i managed to get the average, the maximum, and the minimum percentage of the inhabited landmass of the earth where jehovah's witnesses have been either active (reported) or "not banned".the average is 66.10%!!

  that means that for 90 years, ever since there is data, 1/3 of the world's area has not been preached in or been fully able to preach in!the minimum occurred in 1943, when only 26.77% of the world's inhabited area made a full yearly report and/or wasn't banned.the maximum occurred in 1991 because the yearbook said that the ussr was included.

  the maximum was 82.47%.

  Nice chart Ilovettatt. Given that these areas where the "kingdom message" hasn't been preached in tend to be densely populated, I wonder how many millions, if not billions of people are missing out on these "good news".
