  bugs in your head...

  are you scratching your head just reading the title??....lol....

  head lice is running like a wild grass fire in our neck of the woods and i am scared to death of having to pick through my hair.... in the past, i have never been to worried since the boys always had their hair so short it was not a big threat in our house hold but, with the long hair in style now and one of my sons has grown his, i worry that he may pick it up and i will not be happy....... with school also starting in 2 weeks, we always have the big scare in the schools as well.... so,my question to you all is...... what have you heard that works well as a preventive method?.

  i have heard vinegar and tee tree oil works.??

  Morty,

  As children we had a horrid lice issue due to one family not purchasing the medicated shampoo and combing the nits out. Til this day.. I shiver and thinking about it makes my scalp itch! We had to perform the de-licing process so many times our hair turned a shade of purple. Finally my mom cut all our hair short.. much to our dismay. The school nurse would not take this girls braids out and look! Finally we had enough.. and we undid her braids yelling LOOK! ICK! those things were huge! The school was passing out free kits because it had become that much of an out break. The girl was finally sent home with a kit and was told not to return unless she was nit free!

  I would purchase a nit comb they are very fine toothed and comb through your hair and inspect the comb. It is the only way to be sure, I would also use the shampoo as a preventative.

  guess what you guys....... i come home from a staff meeting and sitting in my mailbox is a little care package from my friend jgnat!!.

  in it was a delicious chocolate and marshmallow confection, along with a lovely heartfelt note.. i was touched, and jgnat can really cook.... and i must imagine how good it tastes fresh out of the oven, before being shipped a few thousand miles.. so thank you jgnat.

  according to hillary step, next time you should send me salad...

  What a total mind blower. Here you are on meds to regulate your blood/ blood pressure and this ass has the nerve to ambush you! I would think someone a nurse, social worker, etc, would have came in and ASKED if you were up to receiving visitors, etc.

  To come in from walking, being “held” up by someone asking personal questions that are none of their business at the most inopportune time is just wrong. You don’t keep a patient standing with I.V.’s like that, it is not only insensitive; but rude!

  he says in 2000 i was supposedly speeding through his town in a red pickup truck.

  opinions please

  would you all please give me your honest opinions.. if you were in a relationship with someone who through alcohol had let you down badly in the past, how would you feel about them going out a lot?.

  how much freedom would you give them?.

  would you think it reasonable for them to either go out without you once a week, sometimes staying out all night but certainly till very late?.

  Change starts with you~ by making changes with yourself, and then change will begin to affect your life too. (The one thing you can truly control is what you do). Once the changes start with you, it will radiate out into your life~ but you have to be determined to make these changes and I am not saying it will be easy either. Change in you makes you stronger to handle the issues around you. The first step is finding a support network.

  I LOST IT ... my JW rant today

  well, i just couldn't hold it in anymore.. today, i exploded, talking to my mother about the family inheritance and how i am being screwed.. i told her i had been so angry lately, and just had to tell her what i was thinking, because the anger was slipping out at times, and i was making snide anti-jw comments .... which is not my way.

  i'm usually quite direct.. i told her that i couldn't take being treated like a piece of dog you-know-what on the bottom of someone's shoe any longer.. that in the past couple of years, i had learned so much filth about the jws that i was getting more and more disgusted day by day.. i started shouting ... there is nothing wrong with me!!!

  why do i have to be shunned when they hide child molesters???.

  For what its worth Tal, you graduated to a new level in the journey for healing, now you have the courage to express your anger, fear kept repressed for so long. It shows how far you have come with healing too. It's a graduation of sorts.

  two leading oncologists both agree that my daughter bethany might be alive today if she had not been fed arsenic.

  as you may recall, the wts arranged to take my sick daughter into hiding for two months and payed a doctor to prescribe arsenic.

  the doctor ant the wts lawyers convinced bethany that the arsenic treatment could cure her.

  I hope all goes well at the rally. I am truly sorry for your loss and am deeply saddened that someone has the gall to question the vaildity of your daughter's life and even more borish is trying to argue facts on a thread that is dedicated for your daughter.

  But, he is just providing a testamemt for the rest of us, by actually showing the lack of fruits of the spirit. Such as: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, COMPASSION, just to name a few. In his unrelentless persuit of the subject, he has proven that this religion does not follow the teachings of the bible.

  For it is said to be as wise as a serpent and as gentle as a dove. He has been hard core and even down right cruel. Yet, not all is lost~ he has proven your point to for you Shunned Father. That the one minded relentless persuit of being right over rides bible teaching. I am sure the big Jah in the sky appreciates your representation of "his" organization.
