Design that age way too young! I was 17. No reason to ask Catholics why they were baptized because it strickly dealing with Jehovahs Witnesses. But I see what you mean because JW like to answer question with question regarding "Christendom" doctrines. They love to compare instead of answering the question. Good at pointing out other religion doctrines instead of their own.

Punkonice they can count time for any reason, let them start counting. But they do get annoyed when I tell them they can not count time with me because I am baptized. A few already tried that one.

As far as time, I find it strange how Jehovah's Witnesses neglect to realize the time after Jesus changed Christians dedication to follow Jesus and proudly boast him as the Messiah.

Baptism for Christian should symbolize following Jesus Christ and beliving he was the Messiah the son of God. Yet with the JWs it is backwards.

The Searcher, that was brave of you to not persuade a bible study to follow an organized religion.Good verse in Acts,so does that mean to be baptized in Jesus Christ name only? Also Acts gives evidence of Holy Spirit suddenly thousands of travelers from different language could hear about Jesus Christ in their own tongues. Men who could never speak in these languages now spoke. I guess I am believer and enjoy God's amazing powers and Love,because his son Jesus Christ gave his life for ALL.

Fernando exactly! I was reading some older post and as people replied not too many said it was to follow Jesus Christ.

Also just finished reading a book about two young children: How JW teaching changed their entire lives! Baptism was manipulated in their teens.

I know my JW baptism was manipulated and it had nothing to do with dedicating my life to Jehovah. Like so many others it was just something that sounded believable to persuade my audience out in service. Pulling at heart felt emotions is what JWs do best.

If I ever have opportunity for some JW to knock on my door, I would like to ask this question. I also, want to be prepared for hearing their bibical account and reasons.

i think she is a hypocrite and i bet she sells her invites to fornicators, or does she ask them if they are having sex before marrige, before she takes their money?.

i was never like this when i was a jw, it's even more disturbing that she is going to ask her elders what to do.

JWs sure started plenty of problems with their trucks and loud speakers! Bashing Catholicism in their own areas. I remember reading some articles where they went into certain area were a group of Irish Catholic lived.

Misused Freedom of Religion and the right to free speech at the expense of others rights just does not seem very Christ like. More like Rutherford using religion for a failed Poltical agenda. Maybe he won a few cases!
