Imagine if JWs taught eternal Hell as well. I fear they made a "mistake" there in the construction a manmade religion. God without eternal Hell could lead to atheism🤔

some of his later movies were so so but overall i think he was outstanding.
meryl streep, i just never thought she was anything exciting yet people say she’s the best actress of all time.

Do JWs believe that animals were created to live in harmony? Lion and the lamb
by Doubledecker inthanks to all who replied to my first post, i appreciate you taking the time to do so.. i left jws for my own reasons as a teenager as i just simply didn’t believe it .
i am enjoying playing catch up with all the information out there now showing multiple examples of false prophecies , covering up the truth and the jw broadcasting stuff is amazing ( as said before i’ve just ignored the organisation for 30 years ) , it’s totally brainwashing evangelical propaganda.. however i digress .... as a young kid i used to ask , “if in paradise the “ lion will lay with lamb “ and all creatures will live in harmony, why for example does a snake have venom if not to eat another creature ?”.
like i say i was 10 years old i remember so please excuse the childish question.. but do they actually believe that was gods original plan for animals ?

using only scriptural proof, show me why you believe that the wtbts/ccojw is god's choice and i'll tell you if i agree with your scriptural reasoning.".

Why does the Borg never use the terms Grace or Ezer
by HiddenPimo inlet me start with: this is not a discussion of the validity of the bible or whether it is inspired of god.. my question is why do you think they don't use grace in their teachings when this is such paramount teaching in the rest of the christian world.
and why do they not reference the hebrew word for helper in genesis 'ezer'.
this word as applied to a woman seems more dignified as it carries the connotation of strength where the man is weak.

Grace in Christianity is given to those in Christ. I remember my mother often asked "what does not God require of man/us". She had no concept of God loving us because of we are in Christ and covered by his blood. If not, God does not love us and indeed the old testament hightlights that with its many judgments. Evangelicals know that but it is very weak point in JWism. They merely speak of our obvious inherited imperfection. -

And I have answered, your problem is that you can not allow a God to create life that also dies to give space to new life. You list selected natural causes. You cleverly leave out dying of old age, which in the natural world is a bad way to die as it will involve pain in the end. So in your clever designs, you disallow a God to exist who creates life that also dies. Case solved.

You explain stuff you design yourself. If you make a god in your own image, you can explain him very well. it is part of the argument of atheism that we should explain God. Theists shutter at the thought of explaining something as far beyond themselves as God.
You think the God of Christians is too mean for allowing pain and then add your own idea that the world was designed to MAXIMISE pain. Who told you that? Why did you capitalize it? Pain is certainly needed to feel and exist. Just as good feelings.Pain was part the Cross and pain is also used to lead people to God.
I never claimed the world was designed by God. Is that what you think initiated means? That is going too far in speculation. But in the control of the Almighty yes .

I know atheists define evolution as " gratuitous pain, suffering and waste." God might respond as did Gretha "how dare you"? He has some reasons for allowing things to run this way. I am very sure that evolution provides amazing things and also unfurtunate things. That is the way of life. Life is corruptible except divine nature.
