Wrongdoing
by Shimmer inmy eight year old daughter asked a very interesting and thought provoking question the other day and i thought i would ask it here.
she asked "if you were allowed to do something bad, what would it be?
" interestingly enough, both her and my son and me all picked the same thing, which was stealing.

there is a Harman Kardon amp thats hopefullt still available
thats was reviews by What HiFi? magazine.Its a real monster that plays LOUD, but not without finesse and control. What HiFi? were astounded at it, except they thought their house probably needed extra reinforcing to handle the bass. And with orchestral stuff, they said the amp could pay lt really well with its excellent dynamics.

by Liberty inafter reading a couple of posts about the growing apathy among the r&f jws today i was reminded of the years following 1975 when the dropout rate was growing rapidly and the "faithful" die hards took it as a sign that the "end" was really really near since the winnowing process was removing so much chaff.
keep in mind that this was over 25 years ago.
it's been mentioned before but it is worth repeating that, no matter what is happening, religious fanatics(jws) always see it as a sign from god.

the traditional holidays (XMAS, Easter and so on) are important links to our past as a human race.
They serve a very important function as 'family rituals' where young children and parents and perhaps extended family member (grandparents) are drawn together in a strong bond of unity and "belonging" while performing these family rituals together.
The lack of the rituals in the JW family is one of the leading reasons for the high occurrence of dysfunctional families amongst that sect.
I encourage you to research the subject and learn about the importance of family rituals. Forget the stuff about "pagan" or whatever, those are all noise-words drummed into you by the Borg.

by Uncanny indo any of you other lurkers or posters ever give a thought to the poeple - not publishers - who may have helped you learn 'the truth about the the truth?
' i'm talking about ex jehovah's witnesses like myself who have been there, done that, seen the light, and are trying to shine it on others.. just over 2 years ago now when i got banished to the bottom of our earth - to a dying mining town in western tasmania on my first and last mts assignment - yours truly started wondering what the heck had become of his life.
i got lonely - real lonely - then on the net, only to find, not solace, but salvation; by discovering all the stuff i'd swallowed from the wtb&t society for the previous 20 years had really been just a pack of dated, if even manipulative theories.
